Sir but how is this possible that a man can mislead a woman to believe that she is lawfully married to him. Does this include that a man must have produced a fake marriage certificate to fool her or can she just claim that the man verbally told her that they were married?

It is ijaab wa qubul which is essential for valid muslim marriage. Both bride and bride groom have to accept (qubul) each other for valid marriage.
