You are right, they wanted to own the the right to the glove and he didn't wanna sell out his design to them , y they can't jus buy from him but ufc is a monopoly so it makes sense

Rogan has talked about this on the pod like 200 times at this point, I don’t think the UFC really care about it.
Theres gotta be something dumb on the business side that were not thinking about, like maybe they see it as an iconic image of the sport akin to a boxing glove is for boxing. Not sure, but clearly they didn't want to stray to far from their original design with this new one.

UFC are content with coasting in regards to everything, basically. What can we put a sponsor on next is the only thing they care about.
HELLO, I don' t how this glove thinks and things are not fixed right now. The technologies and manufactures can create almost everything today & Jones vs Texarera was ten years ago nothing as been done since that fight

There always gonna be something to fix… take a point away or if the eyes closed go with NC.. or DQ depending who was winning the fight. If the guy who’s wining did it punish him with No Contest! If the guy losing did it punish him with DQ he was losing anyways and faulted 🫡 if eye still seeing take a point away from whoever did it! It all makes sense!
