One rib. I love this whole movie, one of my favorite scenes was with "Fly Guy" walking down the street in his outdated clothes and hes getting beyond "roasted", he got "flame broiled" 😂
Y'all just don't quit! I'm Gonna Git You Sucka is another one of my favorite movies! I have it in DVD. The scene with Chris Rock was in my opinion, one of the most iconic scenes in the movie. The way he delivered his lines was excellent. I laughed so hard when he pulled out the huge wad of money and asked "You got change for a hundred?" Classic!
@@AxiomAmnesiaYes, IGGYS is a classic! The movie is a parody of various 1970's Blaxploitation films. This movie also introduced us to the talented Wayans family, as Keenan, Damon, Kim, Marlon, and Shawn are all featured in this film. John Slade, Hammer, Slammer, Kung Fu Joe, and Fly Guy were also great characters. By the way, I said the same thing when Chris Rock only ordered one rib, "What the hell is he going to do with just one rib?"
Chicago here. Evergreen Plaza is a throwback for real. I think that theater has been gone for about 25 years. The last movie I recall seeing there was "Life." Great commentary as always, ya'll really took me back.
This character is the precursor his Cheap Pete character when he guest starred on In Living Color. He did an early version of this character during his first televised stand up when he talked about a guy haggling at McDonalds. You can find that video on RUclips it’s called the Ebony Showcase I believe. Had young Chris Rock, Arsenio Hall, Robert Townsend, Barry Sobel, and Marsha Warfield. I remember watching that on HBO back in like…1986.
ONE RIB. This is one of my favorite movies & it’s the first DVD i brought. My favorite scene is when Fly Guy got out of jail & i would love to see you guys breakdown that scene & here comes the fun facts: Marlon Wayans was supposed to play the rib customer but he wasn’t able to get out of school in time to make it to the audition so the role went to Chris Rock who was an up & coming comedian at the time. Prior to this movie he appeared on Miami Vice & he was also in Krush Groove & Beverly Hills Cop II. Damon Wayans gave Alex Foley the bananas in Beverly Hills Cop. Another movie that came out in 1988 was School Daze.
Also I don't know if you realized that Isaac Hayes had passed away in August 10th 2008, a day after Bernie Mac. I noticed that you mentioned him in the present tense. And yes this movie was Rated R
I did know he passed away, but I hadn't realized it was only a day after Bernie Mac. We kind of talked about both him and Jim Brown being dead when we talked about how their politics seemed to change toward the end of their lives--although we didn't explicitly state that they are both gone now. Thanks for having me clarify this! 😊
My Fav Scenes R 1. When Mama Leroy Fighting 4 Jack. 2. When The Woman Started Taking Herself Apart. 3. Da Window⁉️ or The Stairs❓️. Honorable Mention... PIMP of DA YEAR❗️ & AQUARIUM 👞S‼️.
Good question Heit what was in that bag wasn't no one rib😂. I would like you'll to the whole movie but my favorite scene was when kennan said " I was trained for combat" and when Damon and them were on the roof shooting at him, he was running around talking about they shooting, they shooting
1 Rib, Chris Rock actually reprised that character on the final season of "In Living Color". That time, he went into a convenience store and was complaining about how expensive everything was.
Hey i just start watching but it took me a few takes to notice Chris Rock had a TON of money in his hand. Like that everlasting dope boy money. I think i saw 20s and 100s😅😅😅.. and he still wanted hand outs and freebies ... The soda in my hand floored me !!😅one other thing id like to point out is people may argue why the store owners was being so finiky about cups, ONE damn rib, pouring soda into somebody's hand (which btw is unsanitary and who is going go let a patron reach over the counter and scoop soda ???). To make ONE rib is counter productive being .50 cent wouldn't cover the cost it takes for the rib itself , the labor, as we see two men here , the seasonings, the heat or stove needed to prepare it, napkins , bags , silverware, etc. i know this was satire but this is why restaurants cant and wouldn't never customize an order like this . Too much overhead. 2.50 for a 6 order rib is pretty cheap in today's economy.
One Rib. There's too many scenes to name, but this one was my favorite. Sorry Cheri, Heit is now my favorite host 😄! Hooters wings?! You would've gotten a pass with BWW, but Hooters?! No way 😄😄!
Looking at y'all's on screen advatars are funny especially at the 14:00 mark when Cheri is talking but being a kid and not getting your own stuff.u get what you are given or starve. 😅😅.. its the stare and puckered lips
Okay, he's a legend ☺️ That's really the point we were making... That these two legends are in this comedy, but if you don't know who they are it doesn't hit the same. 😊

I been trying to find the one y'all did about Beverly Hills Cop 4
We didn't do that one. ☺️

Yes!!!! That'd what made it so funny! Just being cheap for no reason! 😂😂😂
Charlie Murphy made this movie
Nawwwww he made CB4. Another movie they need to cover
I know they said Eddie came up with the movie but did Charlie help also ?
One Rib. There's too many scenes to name, but this one was my favorite. Sorry Cheri, Heit is now my favorite host 😄! Hooters wings?! You would've gotten a pass with BWW, but Hooters?! No way 😄😄!
