The Garnet Mt lookout is one of my favorites during the summer. I usually do a 10 to 12 hour trip starting form the bridge and rid my MTB all the way up. I usually pack like 30 lbs at the most. I like the rat lake trail but I also use the river trail. I is a lovely ride/hike and watching the sunset/sunrise is beautiful, not to mention the starry nights. Nice video. I love fire lookouts. I did 6 seasons as a lookout in the salmon river country of Idaho
I did three season's at Arctic Point Lookout on the Frank Church....best job ever...
