i honestly liked the pre-release pizza delivery mechanic but part of me also understands why they would scrap it in favor of how it works in the final game
Looking back at this now that the game's released, it's honestly super interesting to see how much this level changed. What once (personally) looked like heck to properly navigate around turned into a much more streamlined experience where you get to experiment and play with a completely different playstyle for most of the level... neat!
Wait... Theres Checkpoints Now? Great! That Definitely Makes Losing In The Escape In A Long level A Lot Less Punishing, as i assume usually a checkpoint will be placed near John. Meaning you'd only have to redo the escape.
I think that was inspired Wario Land Shake It (Shake Dimension in some other places), where at the end of every level, there’s a block you can break to make a checkpoint Incase you fail to escape in time. This game just screams Wario Land, and I love it.
You, as a player, seem to be highly skilled but also highly excitable. It makes for some amusing fumble-into-workaround moments. Love that one secret level where you're just like "F*** IT" and climbed the pillar instead of trying their weird double jump.

@@AAAAAAAAA1 no it isn't, it has it's own concept and isn't really copying the wario land games, it has it's own features and does take Wario Land concepts while spicing things up a little to make it not look like a direct copy of Wario Land, besides it's thriving on its own concepts right now so yeah, not a wario land clone.

Looking back, this level was way too long to possibly make it into the game as is. It's crazy how much it changed by the time the game released
One thing I really love is how Pepino has these manic expressions even while delivering pizza.
