One thing I love about the tournament is that you get to hear from members of Rooster Teeth that you wouldnt normally hear. Its of course ace listening in to the regulars but even better including the additional members of the office.
He wasn't complaining over the name. He was doing what he said he was doing-- he was clarifying to the guy who WAS complaining about the name. It's also very immature to call somebody immature, then do exactly what they were doing which caused you to call them immature. GUTEN TAG!
Helpful tip: Do not look at videos time length it may spoil the video. Proof?: If they do pig and Jack is about to win and the video has 5 minutes left thats when Geoff will win or lose.
I see what you were saying. In Horse someone makes a shot and then the next person has to make it, instead in the Horse, two people are given a challenge and must complete it.
When did my sea survival we were told stories of people on rafts, stuck in the ocean surrounded by water but couldn't drink it because it would make it worse. urine also would dehydrate you. they figured out how much water was in cans of mushrooms, sweetcorn, etc and drank from the cans. yes, they all eventually made it
I know. That wasn't my point, though. All of the contests, even the ones with tricks, are still a race. It's not simply doing it once and seeing if the other person can do it as well. It's seeing who can do it first.
Water Intoxication, death results from cerebral edema that causes the brain to push on the brainstem, or may mess with the nervous system. The edema is a result of the high amount of water that was drank that causes the electrolyte concentration to be low outside the cell and the solute concentration being high inside the cel this causes the water to move to the cells via osmosis.
Water may be the main component of beer, but your blood absorbs alcohol much more easily than it absorbs water, which means that water won't be absorbed until the alcohol is filtered out through the liver. So, no matter how much water you drink while you're drunk, it will just pass through your system, without hydrating you. This is also the reason you usually have to pee more often after drinking alcohol.
Salt dehydrates you. That's why Saltwater dehydrates you. Soda has sodium which is made with salt, making soda still something that hydrates you but not a good source. So Geoff is pretty such right, because beer contains very little sodium, making it a better hydration device.
I have a 32" monitor so the top rated comments always show and sometimes you can't help but read the them absent mindedly if your waiting for the video to load. They've changed now but when he posted that the comment he was talking about was probably one of the top comments.
Ok I just have to ask this because I have been seeing it a lot and it's driving me crazy. Do you use "your" in that usage because you feel like it or because you think it's the right use? I've seen hundreds of people use your instead of you're and I'm just curious.
Dear Mr. alpo 1231. I can't believe I'm explaining this to you, but salt water is not 100% water. The reason it dehydrates you is because while the water portion goes through the stomach membrane, excess salt, which is mainly sodium, collects in the bladder and gets urinated out. And, "where goes sodium, so goes water," meaning your bladder gets filled with water as well and you just pee it all out. Also, fresh water isn't 100% water. It's got minerals and stuff in it.
Alcohol is ethanol. Unless you're talking about Beer then yes its mostly water. Other Alcohol is diluted to keep it from being hazardous to your health such as the new Absinthe.
If you are having problems with that, open a middle school text book on chemistry. Or a high-school one. In fact, any science learning book after, say, kindergarten pretty much tells you there's a difference between water that we drink and salt water.
Geoff says that the main component in alcohol is water, but it's not. All alcohols is their own substanses, just like water is. Unless he means beverages that contains alcohol, like beer and wine.
This argument did indeed take place 5 days prior to this comment and I do not want to pull anyone back into it. I would just like to clarify that even though you have the right to post comments on your knowledge or beliefs, it doesn't mean you have to. If you are find yourself in an argument over "I'm right your wrong" walk away. No one will win in the end. Both parties will usually forever disagree and are just wasting time. Thank you for listening.
1:13 That is incorrect! Last time, when Joel faced Adam, when they did this map, it said the map was done by "Balsay69", but in this video, he's just "Balsay"!
you can filter water to a perfectly pure form but it is extremly difficult and takes a really long time. fun fact, pure water with no impuritys doesnt conduct electricity.
The "main" component of alcohol is NOT water. Sorry to do this; I know it makes me sound like a troll, but come on man. The "% Alcohol by volume" is referring to the amount of Ethanol (C2H6O) And while yes, low alcohol drinks do have a lot of water, it is more difficult for the body to extract it from the other components of the drink (compared to straight H2O,) not to mention that ethanol acts as a natural diuretic, causing you to pee more than usual.
no no no, you misunderstand. because @TNAfreak09RJ spelt "bunnies" the correct way and Jedi4TW spelt it "bunnyies." I was simply using a play on words by purposely misspelling as an insult, you just read it with the wrong idea
Jack said alas a lot

U two are the best at fails of the week

Does Geoff do the voice of Grif in RvB
Tyler Mohling yes he does
Now I know, thank you for this eye opening adventure through time and space.
Every rvb voice actor loses!
So car

no if you read the description he is in the art team
I see what you were saying. In Horse someone makes a shot and then the next person has to make it, instead in the Horse, two people are given a challenge and must complete it.
Jeff is by far my favorite RoosterTeeth employee, and it saddens me to no end that he no longer does the podcast for a reason unknown to me.
When did my sea survival we were told stories of people on rafts, stuck in the ocean surrounded by water but couldn't drink it because it would make it worse. urine also would dehydrate you. they figured out how much water was in cans of mushrooms, sweetcorn, etc and drank from the cans. yes, they all eventually made it
you can with the XIM3 mouse and keyboard adapter for xbox 360. There is a review by classic game room so you can see it in action.
hey i almost 4got 2 ask but is this a like a world tournament or a just 4 fun tournament
Alas, we need more Horse videos like this one.
HORSE videos: The only place where you'll find people fighting about water.
you know its a good horse episode when you see it's almost 10min long
I know. That wasn't my point, though. All of the contests, even the ones with tricks, are still a race. It's not simply doing it once and seeing if the other person can do it as well. It's seeing who can do it first.
correct, the high salt/carbon content dehydrates the drinker. Also, alcohol is it's own compound, it is not water.
I thought the same thing lol. Apparently he's just an animator for RvB, and we just never heard of him before.
Dude, Gavin is still in it so I think it will be good to see him again.

That was an excellent match! Great work to both, fantastic to watch!!!
I love these horse tournaments.
I think you guys should add a time-code in the corner so we can see just how long you guys were playing particular levels.
what is the name of the song at the very end of the video?
Nicely done game of HORSE. :) Didn't expect that outcome.
Tried reading the description, where it tells you what Brian does?
So how long until this is a televised sporting event?
How long is it going to take to finish this tournament, at least do 1 round per week, not one match
Like Trials you should put a timer to show how long it took them. Its more editing fun!

The first obstacle on round nine reminded me of that first obstacle from Ninja Warrior.

So how many times did Jack say "alas"?
Was that like his random catchphrase of the day?
I watched all the Horses...from the beginning...got here...then I realized this was the newest one :'(. Can't wait for the next >:D
I love how geoff has reached the point where he doesn't give a shit about horse anymore. He was so enthusiastic for the first 10 episodes
I have a 32" monitor so the top rated comments always show and sometimes you can't help but read the them absent mindedly if your waiting for the video to load. They've changed now but when he posted that the comment he was talking about was probably one of the top comments.
How long did it take you to build this map?
Must have been an RT office bet to see how many times Jack could say alas. Like the "meow" scene in Super Troopers.
I really want to see yall do a few HORSE matches as your RvB characters
are you guys still accepting horse maps?
Ok I just have to ask this because I have been seeing it a lot and it's driving me crazy. Do you use "your" in that usage because you feel like it or because you think it's the right use? I've seen hundreds of people use your instead of you're and I'm just curious.
Thanks for putting spoiler, as soon as I saw that I quickly scrolled back up.
Kerry, Michael and Ray, our hopes are on you three to make it to the semi-finals at least
What was the name of the first map?

I am being extremely honest here, thank you for clearing this up. I knew that it uses more water than your acctualy drinking, I just didn't know why.
Alcohol is ethanol. Unless you're talking about Beer then yes its mostly water. Other Alcohol is diluted to keep it from being hazardous to your health such as the new Absinthe.

thumbs up for rooster teeth being the best company eva
The most dramatic and exiting Horse yet. Too bad it didn't have happy ending.
Geoff says that the main component in alcohol is water, but it's not. All alcohols is their own substanses, just like water is. Unless he means beverages that contains alcohol, like beer and wine.
i like how Michael and Gavin our on opposite sides on the tournament board
awesome competing ! nice playing for real !
Brian is the one and only AWESOME art director and graphic desinger from the RvB series!!!
No, the water doesn't dehydrate you, but the water goes into your body before the salt, and the salt is what dehydrates you.
Rooster Teeth's art director/graphic designer.
the main component in salt water is water as well, but that shiznit will dehydrate and kill you if you drink it...
does anyone else think an achievement horse stream would be fun to watch?
@CusterDawg "u stop not right meow" are u sayin meow? " does it look like i drink milk from a scacer? lmaoxD
When was that?? the first four episodes? XD
lol watching this in class trying so hard not to laugh at the fails
Just got a account Ive been watching this channel for ever best channel eva
More Trials HORSE, we've been watching Halo HORSE for the past fuckin year.
No Geoff, the main component of alcoholic beverages is water, the main component of alcohol is alcohol. Specifically, the alcohol we drink is ethanol.
Awww Marshall is out of the tournament :( he was my favorite to win.
is Geoff Grif off of red vs blue
sounds similar with his heyo

I'm proud of you Geoff, you did better than the last 1300 games you participated in! :D
I still root for you every time, though.
1:13 That is incorrect! Last time, when Joel faced Adam, when they did this map, it said the map was done by "Balsay69", but in this video, he's just "Balsay"!
It is official I paused the video at 00:14 and read the description... I vote Brian...
I want to see Geoff play the Quantom map from Halo 3.
if you have been counting all the horse's Geoff got up until this point, this episode was number 35. not including the 9 way courses.
6:14, brian says "this map drove me up the wall," as his mongoose gets blown almost to the top of that wall.
you can filter water to a perfectly pure form but it is extremly difficult and takes a really long time. fun fact, pure water with no impuritys doesnt conduct electricity.
jack seems to have learnt a new word today... "alas" every 2 minutes.. poor yorick
Dang I thought Geoff had it this time. Not enough beer in his system maybe, but the tournament is fun.
im going to watch that movie tomorrow now just because I miss it so much.
This was posted the day before my birthday! :D
I know, but there is more than salt in sea water. Just to clarify. Which is much more harmful than alcohol.
It's not cage, Jack. It's KA-GE. Two syllables. It's Japanese for shadow.
how many times it jack going to say alas?

Beer compontents
1% sugar
50% water
49% secret ingredient
12% matchheads
Thank you for remaining spoiler free! :)
wait you said "not talking about baskeball horse, your talking about any horse" well...this is another type of horse lol
I was never the one doing the arguing. I simply made an observation that apparently ruined someone's day.
Has Brian ever been in a video or podcast before?
I really enjoy the more closed markers
what is this
this video is currently unavailable
even though i donwloaded the newest patch
You guys should play HORSE on a livestream.
Water is mostly water, but it hydrates you.
I remember when Geoff used to win like all the time against Jack!
Those were the good days.
How many times does Jack say "alas"?
Where's marshal runner up of 2011?
how do i download those maps?
6:12 "This map drove me up the wall".
I see what you did there...
no no no, you misunderstand. because @TNAfreak09RJ spelt "bunnies" the correct way and Jedi4TW spelt it "bunnyies." I was simply using a play on words by purposely misspelling as an insult, you just read it with the wrong idea
First conquers the crickets in the RT office, then conquers this round of HORSE.
