- You'll be put in the cockpit of the famous #74 Super Corsair piloted by Robert Odegaard while he flies an Unlimited Heat at the 2011 Reno Air Races. You'll see the race like never before! This is an edited down 15min from a 208 video.
Bob always said that the aircraft belonged to everyone, trying to keep that ideal alive with all the photos...he was a tremendous human being!
TALK ABOUT A BIRDS EYE VIEW, WOW!!!! I TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THIS VIDEO.
What a terrible loss; a man who inspired so many to fly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time.
This thing is fast. Great video footage. I was in Reno always at the wrong time to see the races. These guys are living the dream.
I watched this for the first time yesterday and am saddened to hear of his death R.I.P Mr. Odegaard
amen hunny,
you got that right. dear
that is music to my ears too
listen to it all day and never get tired of it.
Fantastic vid. Bob...Blue Skies and Tailwinds Sir !!!
Thanks for the video. Really going to miss Bob. Blue skies my friend.
What can I say? You are the man! Great video. Thanks for the ride,
love it! thanks!
great video
What a tragic and horrible loss his fatal crash in that airplane was. Loss of a great pilot and person, loss of an irreplaceable aircraft too. It was like knowing there were only two Bald Eagles left in the world and then hearing that one of them died.
7 billion people on this planet... but "loss of an irreplaceable aircraft too." Its why I HATE the fucking war bird community a and air racing too.. they have destroyed more history, and killed more people.
WOW that is great
*The Super Corsair #74* races a heat at Reno, '11 and this puts you in the cockpit. . ruclips.net/video/jm1ImoWNUCo/видео.html fwd4.me/16o5 The whole story is on the blog
Way cool! The video quality looks outstanding for that sort of in the cockpit type video too.
This was the winner of the 1947 Thompson in Cleveland. After all the time and sweat and money put into restoring this bird, what a shame this Corsair didn't get to fly more. And a bigger loss surely is Bob. We won't ever forget you.
I really hate to report this, but its been reported that Rob Odegaart has just crashed in race 74 while practicng for a show in North Dakota, apparently he didnt survive.....prayers
He was lapping them it looked rather fast......
Id rather fly it in a forest or a more attractive area
and not just going around dirt, and sagebrush.
But its still a good video.
Wish he'd quit keying the mike.
