Thank you for not making a creepy clown! As someone who’s actually trained in clowning, all the creepy clowns are kind of insulting because clowning is something that’s all about having fun at its core! She reminds me of my own clown and is so beautiful!

That looks wonderful! I love the pastel and circus aesthetic! Maybe you could do an American/fourth of July party aesthetic, but with red white and blue flowers in the doll's hair? Look and see photos of it and see if some may inspire you

her bang reminds me of Rachel's hairstyle (from the movie "Bladerunner"). i like the fancy yarn use, it's lovely and also you can use those strands to secure the hairstyle without adding rubberbands, i mean as it blends in the hair.

Ya know, I'm afraid of clowns, and I don't really like them, but she is super cute!!! I love the color palette and her hair, it's so sweet and fun!! This is one of my favorites!! You are so awesome!!! I love your style!! Oh , I'm almost finished with my first doll customizing, I just finished her hair, and now I just need to do her face-up and clothes. This is my favourite doll you’ve ever done! The attention to detail is really what makes her amazing. I have question though - when you brush the yarn hair out AFTER it’s been rerooted - does it not just pull straight out of the head? Also, I lose SO much of the yarn when I’m brushing it out tied to a knitting needle to make wefts.
Villanelle Thank you! And I always hold the hair by the root so it doesn’t pull out and if you use really short strokes and got from the tip to the base you’ll save a lot of the hair. I find that rerooting then brushing out you save more of the length because your not having to cut it. I hope this answered the question. Feel free to ask any others you may have and I’ll do my best to answer!
The hot pink skin kinda clashes with the pastels. A paler pink or white skintone would probably fit the theme better. BUT HONESTLY I DON'T REALLY CARE BECAUSE THIS IS STILL SUPER COOL AND CAMP. Really love how you didn't do the oh-so-common scary/creepy clown and instead opted to make her super fun and cute

I absolutely love this doll. I'm ocd though and noticed one side of the eyeliner was thicker than the other and it was driving me crazy😂😂 grats though she's so cute and the hair is UGh💞💖💕💓 I just think that the balloons are a little crude cause balloons are supposed to be round and shiny while fabric balloons have wrinkles and folds. The bows on them were a good idea though :))
Totally understandable! This is why I would never make it as a beauty guru LOL. *shakes fist in the air* I will need to pay closer attention to the next one to ensure I don't miss that. This is my favourite doll you’ve ever done! The attention to detail is really what makes her amazing. I have question though - when you brush the yarn hair out AFTER it’s been rerooted - does it not just pull straight out of the head? Also, I lose SO much of the yarn when I’m brushing it out tied to a knitting needle to make wefts.
Villanelle Thank you! And I always hold the hair by the root so it doesn’t pull out and if you use really short strokes and got from the tip to the base you’ll save a lot of the hair. I find that rerooting then brushing out you save more of the length because your not having to cut it. I hope this answered the question. Feel free to ask any others you may have and I’ll do my best to answer!

The hot pink skin kinda clashes with the pastels. A paler pink or white skintone would probably fit the theme better. BUT HONESTLY I DON'T REALLY CARE BECAUSE THIS IS STILL SUPER COOL AND CAMP. Really love how you didn't do the oh-so-common scary/creepy clown and instead opted to make her super fun and cute

I absolutely love this doll. I'm ocd though and noticed one side of the eyeliner was thicker than the other and it was driving me crazy😂😂 grats though she's so cute and the hair is UGh💞💖💕💓 I just think that the balloons are a little crude cause balloons are supposed to be round and shiny while fabric balloons have wrinkles and folds. The bows on them were a good idea though :))
