During the 1971 Liberation War for Bangladesh, USA sided with Pakistan and sent it's navy to Indian shores for pressurizing India for a retreat. But, it was Russia (then, the Soviet Union) which took it's submarines out for India in the Indian Ocean and made USA to retreat. Russia also insured that China doesn't interfere in the situation. It was Russia on the international level who supported India in 1971 with an open heart and no personal benefits. If I have to choose between the USA or Russia, I'll choose Russia. They are a more reliable and selfless friend. 🇷🇺🇮🇳
