    You have learnt SO much but it was nice seeing old clips, it was kind of fun when you didn't know what you were doing but were full of youthful enthusiasm!!🙂
    I do cringe to see davids with the planer though, given what's to come...ouch...

    Hope you see this suggestion before you finish up the bathroom. Cover the sink with a pillow or two and then a towel or something over the towels. This will protect the sink if something drops on it.

    Irony: You pull on the first one with all your weight and it is stuck. Several boards later, they start falling off and hitting you in the head.
    Always keep some old carpet pieces around to protect things like that shower from falling debris during such a project. Would be a shame to scratch or chip it while trying to make the bathroom better.
    Don't be embarassed by how "bad" you think it looks now that your have skills to make it better. Focus on the fact that you DID get better at it. Remember, you have to fall on your face a lot while learning to walk and you have to learn to walk before you can learn to dance.

    • @DoBeDiff
      @DoBeDiff  10 дней назад

      That's not dirt, its calcium rich water and the stain is almost uncleanable especially on this glass which has texture in it and makes any cleaning a nightmare! It cleans off everywhere except the shower glass because of it's texture. We will have smooth glass for the new one! Plus we are throwing it out in few weeks so I don't think I need it to be perfect!

    When I saw the title I remembered when you were doing demo work and the entire ceiling in one room just collapsed. I was genuinely surprised Despina stayed in the house, she seemd so freaked out at first☺️ But it’s truly your dream house now since you put so much heart in fixing it.❤
    The backup bathroom is a good idea (in the barn) but in winter it would be difficult to have a shower then run back to the house.

    I am assuming that you don't have access to sheet rock type materials there. If you did, you could quickly install a new ceiling and paint it. Any light color for the bathroom will not only make the room look much bigger, but add some warmth and light as well. But you two know what you like better than any of us. So go for it and we will watch! Thumbs Up!

    • @DoBeDiff
      @DoBeDiff  11 дней назад +2

      Of course we have access to sheet rock its's in every hardware store, but it's not about the cost now we prefer wood ceilings they actually cost more than sheetrock but when we first started we had no money for any extra expenses so this ceiling was the best we could do quickly. I personally rather have ceiling with character than flat walls and ceilings!

    • @garymucher4082

      @@DoBeDiff hope you realize I didn't mean and disrespect with my suggestion of sheet rock. It is just what everybody uses where I live. Of course do what you both like. It is your house and project. So carry on and we will watch...

    • @DoBeDiff
      @DoBeDiff  10 дней назад

      @@garymucher4082 No disrespect at all, I just prefer the wood look. I don't expect everyone to love it! I do like sheetrock with beams exposed that also looks clean and rustic with modern touch.

    I remember when you put that insulation in there and how cold it was. I don’t understand why the rest of the house attic especially the parts where you can see outside isn’t sealed. You loose a lot of heat that way. Love what you do this house and your e unique style.😊

    Like every project since you bought the old run down farm the new bath room will be awesome
    when you are finished. The work you both contribute to would take less ambitious and skilled people
    months or years to accomplish what you do in days or weeks. Lots of hard work remaining to remove the
    now useless chimney bricks and debris ! Can't wait for final result ! 👍👍👍👍💪🏻🙏🏻♥♥
