After a doctor performed a skin graft from her groin area, as she got older, the skin graft started sprouting pubic hair. Embarrassed and afraid of her daughter possibly being teased because of her scar, she turns to the Botched doctors to see if there’s any way to remove the hairy patch. Are you guys serious?? The reason grafts are taken from the groin area is because "excess" skin available. Imagine you take a graft from somewhere taut like the arm or hand; this will cause unnecessary stretching in a visible area of the body. The surgeon wasn't intentionally trying to ruin "brown beauty". If that's what you think, it just says more about you than it does the surgeon.

    • @TDdelta777
      @TDdelta777 14 дней назад +6

      It doesn’t matter where the tissue is placed, the cells still carry the information to do their function.
      I think that the surgeon who did the transplant should have thought about it but I must say this person must have had very good skills because there is no visible deformation, nerves and facial muscles work perfectly after that also her facial expressions are normal. This person could have just stitched her leaving a massive scar.
      So I wouldn’t criticize the first surgeon that much, perhaps her family asked the tissue to be from a less visible area or the surgeon as much as he was a good surgeon didn’t thought about the puberty being focused on the functionality and not the appearance.
      I think that when such accidents happen people just don’t think about what will happen in the future, they expect that a surgeon will know everything even if it’s not their expertise. Sometimes if you don’t demand a plastic surgeon the hospital won’t even offer it and will go for the fastest and the easiest solution.

      I think the doctor probably went for the skin near the groin because it's as thin as the skin in the face, a skin graft from the arm would have bulged out as the skin in arms and body is much thicker, in a way I think he took a risk, he thought maybe after the near groin skin would be in her face it would stop being affected by hormones as much unfortunately he was wrong about that but also he did do a good enough job that it just looked like a birth mark for many years which is preferable to have an obvious skin graft looking thing in your face.

      You may be right. But he may have assumed that she wouid have a plastic surgeon correct the scar and any problems with the skin graft when she got older.
      Just take out the part of the skin being from the groin area. The graft is large, and facial skin is different from every other kind of body skin. It has a lot of nerves, it is a certain thickness, etc.
      The donor graft spot is a very stretchy area. It would have healed quickly. Any problems with cosmetics could be addressed when her life wasn't in danger anymore.

      With genetics, some women have hairier inner thighs than others.

      And that was HIS decision. A doctor PRACTICES medicine. That means that the groin area is often considered to be suitable for child skin grafts.
      Everyone focusing on the type of skin used is ignoring that the doctor saved her life. There was a large area of no skin on her FACE. He did what he could, and he probably thought that some other surgeon could fix the appearance (scar, skin) later.

    I know someone who got 3rd degree burns on her face. The surgeons shaved her head and took the donor skin from her scalp. She has not had any hair growing out of the grafts on her face, and (with the exception of the wrinkles), the skin looks like it was original facial skin. Why the MD took skin from the groin for this lady in the video is mind-boggling. Sounds like grounds for malpractice. She is a beautiful lady, I'm glad they were able to help her.
