Hi Aunty Flo. My ancestry DNA connected me to a far distant cousin from Nnewi. We keep in touch. #LoveFromAJamaican🇯🇲🇺🇸 Thank you for your vlogs!!! Awesome 👏👏👏
Thank you for this tour, @Flo Chinyere. Brings nostalgic feelings. I really miss home (I currently live in the USA). I used to frequent that Nnewi-Ozubulu Road while I was a Madonna University Student in the early 2000's. I am from Amichi, and so I ride all through these roads with my motorcycle. Chai! How time flies! I wanna relive those memories. I wish.
I am from Nnewi, all my ancestors are from Anambra. The reason why we are great is because we never look down on our hometown or call it ''village'', to us, it is home and whatever we want to build, we build it there. Whether the roads are paved o or not paved, we remain VERY proud of our hometown and that pride helps us to keep improving it. Everything you see was built by Nnewi indigines. I have three houses there which would have made me more money in Lagos, but Lagos was not built in a day, so small small the value of my Nnewi houses will go up, if others keep investing in Nnewi. Amazing video, Dalu Nwanyi Anambra

Hi Flo. Just want to say you are incredible! Keep up the good work. It's too bad I cant speak your tribal language. Your village looks fantastic. It reminds me so much of Jamaica; or at least parts of it!
Good info in these videos. I pray that the prosperity continues. Don't worry to much about the negative things people say bcuz they don't know the prosperity that u have seen through the years in your Country. It's what happens when a country is ruled for decades or centuries by people who mean no good to the natives of the land. I am a descendant of the people who came to America in the Cross Atlantic Slave Trade. I know that many Igbo came here the same way. I haven't had DNA done but when we got here we all mixed so I probably have Igbo in my DNA but I luv all of Africa and Africans who r positive. This video and these women seem to b very positive for the their Continent, Country and their people. Keep up the good work.
I love Africa for Africa. I pray that places like those that you have shown will NEVER turn into something that looks like New York or even Abuja. I love the BEAUTY of Africa as it is. Yes, roads and bridges are beneficial and needful for reasons beyond superficial esthetics. However, I pray that in the course of providing the necessary infrastructure they will not destroy the true beauty Africa and cause the REAL Africa to become obsolete. Thanks for sharing!
GraceTruthTeacher This is what I keep saying. Sadly, the change has already gone too far in my village. When I was younger, only people we knew lived around us. Mostly kinsmen, with a few people from other places. Now I ask whose house I see here or there, and I hear about someone who’s from a different town or state. People now sell their birthright (land) to just anybody. Instead of vegetation, I now see tall buildings, with tenants. Tenants!

Such a fantastic video - I have visited a number of countries in Africa and have never captured on video what my eyes have seen... and I have seen some wonderful things. My photographs tell a limited story alongside my verbal one. Your videos are wonderful and so adds to my desire to visit Nigeria. I notice there; as in the countries I have been to - I see the government needs to make proper investment in the roads and most important make footpaths for pedestrians so that they can walk without being in danger of being the direct path of vehicles on the road. Thank you for making and sharing what your eyes have seen.
No where in Igbo land looks like Ikeja GRA , Town planning with Trees and grass makes cities to be beautiful and healthy to live .. Nnewi is not planned by the rich comes from this place . Wish I could like this video multiple times! Thank you sooooooo much for the memories! The village adventure us giving me life!!!!! We had just half an hour to drive around Nnewi hence no time for stopovers. I came to Nnewi for a meeting and had to do this for my Nnewi people that were asking for it. I also had to rush to Awka for another meeting.
@@FloChinyere Thanks for answering have a blessed day
That put a beautiful smile on my face especially the end commentary.😝 Well done sis
Umudim, Nnewi is the home of excellence❤️🙌🏾
Are u from umudim?
Ify Chisom yes
Nnewi is a great town with great people, I am from Owerre-ezukala but whenever I go to Nnewi I will wish to stay there, the land of billionaires
Aunty flo......ur friend and daughter is here again o.....i have never been to Anambra before oo but these videos make me feel like i've been there.....thank you
Awww 😘
Hi Flo. Just want to say you are incredible! Keep up the good work. It's too bad I cant speak your tribal language. Your village looks fantastic. It reminds me so much of Jamaica; or at least parts of it!
Chai nwanyi oma, you simply broke my heart for not reaching Ugwuorie market Ozubulu 😌....Anyway thank you for sharing!
The videos are very nice the difference with Africans we have our villages and our towns. We are rich,
Good info in these videos.
Tenants!
Thank you so much chichi I have learned so much from your videos again thanks
Am proudly Nnewi... Thanks for sharing
Flo, i started following you recently and I like the contents of your videos. I am from Adazi- Nnukwu. I couldn’t drop my phone the day you pass through St Andrews though we visited last year but I couldn’t have enough of it. I like your originality and being real . My name is Ohio and I leave in France with my family. Have you made a video of Agulu your home town?? I am still searching for it. Pls reply
Sylvia Chris Okere I was thrilled to see that blog too, especially seeing St Andrew’s. I schooled in Loretto Special Science School.
Thanks so much Flo we feel you & absolutely love your videos. Pls what's the title track/artiste you were playing in this background in this video? I kept hearing, "only you, only you". Pls I love it. Can u send the name? With love from 🇨🇦
That house u guys says is beautiful the owner is living in Congo 👏

Wow! Now I see why you know everywhere. 👏
@@FloChinyere thanks flo, out from the box, which is the posible way to cook beans fastest, the beans in Manila takes almost 3 hours to cook
La Bishop I always cook beans with my pressure pot. Watch how I do it in this vlog: ruclips.net/video/ydHkxkIFQAw/видео.html
The process starts near the beginning of the vlog.
Where in Nnewi. I'm from Nnewi. I'm studying in Cebu
@@adimchinakaonyejekwulum3293 cavite,
Such a fantastic video - I have visited a number of countries in Africa and have never captured on video what my eyes have seen... and I have seen some wonderful things.
Chi how about UKPOR?
Chai!!! Nostalgia❤
I'm telling you.
No where in Igbo land looks like Ikeja GRA , Town planning with Trees and grass makes cities to be beautiful and healthy to live .. Nnewi is not planned by the rich comes from this place . Not organized . Please go to Abariba in Abia state ! You know how organized and beautiful that village in Igboland
At 6:21 ...that church is the Anglican church I attend...miss my hometown, miss Nigeria
Aunty Flo please can you state the name of the album that was playing in the car? Especially in the beginning when you were at the Igwe’s place.
Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh!!!!! Sis you’re killing me right now!!! I saw this market junction (Amaobi), and I clicked so fast! You’re just like a minute from my houseeee!!!! I’m screamingggg!!! Sorry guys, I’m so freaking excited. And I’m crying right now. Gosh I wanna go home now. Even if for nothing else, God bless you for this Sis Chi. I love you so much! 💕❤️😍😘😭
Aww! That means you might know Chibuike. Find him on this channel and see if you know each other. His house is around there too.
Flo Chinyere I think that’s Chibuike Ulasi I believe. I’ll chat with him.
Wish I could like this video multiple times! Thank you sooooooo much for the memories! The village adventure us giving me life!!!!! My safest and happiest place when in Nigeria is always when I’m in the village.
I can’t believe people were complaining about the state of the roads like for real!? Lol, some people really do live under the rock for sure
I'm telling you. The joy that the village gives. 💛
prominent people in Nnewi which some of them are: cosmos mmaduka (coscharis) ifeanyi Ubah Cletus ibeto , Augustine ilodibe(ekene dilichukwu) Virginia etiaba first female governor, professor chu Okongwu formal finance minister, professor Kingsley muoghalu, innocent chukwuma innoson) Gabriel chukwuma Gabros formal vice president of the nfa then nwafor akweke oriuzu dim chukwuemeka odumegwu Ojukwu, e.t.c
Daalu! 💛👏
I'm from Umudim.
I love your videos.
Flo the journalist 🤣🤣 that part got me ROTFL, honestly I enjoyed every second of this video, you’re by far my best “youtuber” after watching so many folks will be making plans to visit home soonest(me inclusive).
For those ranting about the muds/infrastructure etc lol 😆 if only they know what an average nnewi/anambra man is worth they wouldn’t even dare to comment.
Sis thanks and chukwu gozie gi ri’nne
😂😂😂 Another title to add to my name!
Are you minding those that expect individuals to do the job of the government?
To know how Nigeria once was many years ago, and to what has been left then you can understand. The beauty is still there...but its a broken land continually healing from past and present hurt. But I believe it is a better time for Nigeria and other countries like her.
I didn’t see my hometown Ifite - Orifite, I saw my father’s high school The memorial school.
it wasnt in that route
I totally Concur with you Flo, Anambra Past govt and present one are really trying, my Village Roads are Tarred , I'm impressed honestly.
If you see the village roads in Agulu eh?! Ute! Nnewi roads are bad because of these big trucks that are coming and going.
Yes ooh, Nobody can Compare Anambra Roads now to how it was 2005-1901, The Gov. Are working hohaa
Wow.Ozubulu my home town
I so enjoyed this video. I am soo home sick. Thanks a lot for sharing. This gave me a peek at Nnewi, i havent been there before. And you guys made me feel so bad for not being home in a while, it is really not by choice but circumstances.
Kosite don't feel bad Nne. It's a matter of time. 💛
Ozubulu all the way thank you sister flo.
Nice one am in love with all your videos
My dear sister I really enjoyed your video
Well done my sisters, please find more time to go back to Nnewi, but this time around please try and get someone that knows more about Nnewi. Pay more attention to individual family homes and you will love it.
Anambra....Ndi anambra....villages turn town.....no village in Anambra as it stand.....meaning after lagos and anambra no other state in nigeria is fully developed in terms of individual effort......the kind of houses i saw in aanambra amazed me...walahi...am no from the east , but i had to say it as it is....
Yes. Anambra is trying with roads. There is inter state road now
