As usual I learnt a lot having watched your this lesson. I've got a question sir ! Going to + have to + Base form of verb For what meaning do we use HAVE TO after GOING TO etc. and MODAL VERBS ? I'm looking forward to be answered. Thanks
In the sentence number1, you said: "we arrived at the airport in time to catch our flight". I wonder about the statement" in time" you did not consider it error, is it really correctl? Because I always say "on time". Thanks and please make a lot of sentence correction lessons vedios. Regards.
On time means that there is a specific time established when something is supposed/expected to happen, and it is happening at the planned time.In time means that something happened at the last moment before it was too late
Dear prof, I was wondering if I might dare to ask You a question ? I do know the verb mean is followed by infinitive not gerund. Why did you put it into gerund form. Thank you

Dear prof,
I was wondering if I might dare to ask You a question ? I do know the verb mean is followed by infinitive not gerund. Why did you put it into gerund form. Thank you
Hi, because 'mean' takes a gerund with that meaning. Another meaning means it takes the infinitive.
