I've never seen this guy before & feel like I've seen all the content creators for audio but one of two things is true here... 1. This is a satirical channel with the goal of driving engagement by doing ridiculous videos & trying to drum up controversy or... 2. This dude is just projecting he's miserable in life and looking for things to bash to feel better about where he is. If this is the case it's unfortunate, but it's no secret a lot of people dive into hobbies when they're not happy to find an escape. Some heal from the hobby, some just let the misery consume them and continue to project it out to the world. In some cases, that misery is projected to an uncapped audience on socials & YT. Hope he has a reflection on how silly this is and finds peace. If this is a satire channel, then good on them they got me fooled.

A graph does not capture everything about an iem. I've seen a couple of your videos now. What exactly are your credentials? From the sound of it you just stare at graphs all day. Do you have experience listening to a large assortment of iems? Is your experience limited to throwing shade on other people?
to disprove the idea that graph captures everything about an iem, you need to find 1) two iems that have the same graph and 2) these two iems still can be distinguished under double blind conditions. I don't think anyone has had this kind of evidence. on the other hand, there is sufficient reason to believe that at least for iems, the graph is basically the only thing you need to care about. iems' deviations from minimum phase systems are below audibility thresholds nowadays, and it is the mathematically proven property of minimum phase systems to have all their information contained in their frequency response.

I don't get the hype with ANY IEMs. I have never seen a measurement that is even close to linearity of budget hifi speakers in a well setup room, let alone most headphones. What is the point? Is it so they are compact?
With this title and review, I felt that even if you changed a thousand pictures for your channel, you would still be the most hated person in this hobby.
Because the truth hurts many people and companies. This is not headfi where the reviewers/shillers are going to talk good about every iem to not get blacklisted from companies.

Let’s be honest, the Fatfreq Deuce are actually a revelation especially for Base heads. I mean these are inherently musical. They are 1/3 the price of the scarlet mini. Just Believe me and try these on.
The hbb deuce sounds fantastic and I'm a hardcore iem enthusiast (over 30 years and over $5,000 worth of headphones). I like it better than the Estrella.
moondrop did something interesting to fight the 11khz peak of single DDs. it invented the spring tips. these tips delay the peaks and create dips around 10-11khz and make the treble sound better.
Oof yea when it was $20 ish I could accept the treble weakness but $250? Yea no. This could've been great and that's what I think is the most infuriating. It's like they tried to tune the bass + mids but they completely do the bare minimum on the treble

When watching hbb on youtbe on pre-launch there were concerns... This product is his idea, he wanted no multi-driver setup and wanted to keep the cost low, purchase can be made from fatfreq or linsoul*. Glad i pause and waited, will probably opt for a quedalix 5k purchase first. Its definitely overkill for me but its a great tool and to make do with what i have first. Yes. Im aware that a regular cheap below 5 dollar usb-c dac is more than enough.
