- In each episode of The Taylor James Show, Taylor performs a song on her own. These songs are pulled from her live performance repertoire and/or record catalogue and is selected based on a unique connection she has with the guest for that episode, and/or their style and sound.
This is what she had to say about the selection of the hit 'Ramble On' (written by Robert Plant and Jimmy Page and performed by Led Zeppelin):
"Ramble On was released in 1969 and Fly At Night 1977. I wanted to perform a timeless rock song from the same era. I also opened for Chilliwack in the early 2000’s and opened solo with Ramble On. It just felt right."

As usual, Taylor nails another one.
This is just fantastic--a timeless tune, and some seriously strong vocal jabs from Taylor. I can't help but also appreciate how much Robert Plant's bluesy vocal stylings have influenced us over time....not a comparison, just an appreciation.

have you heard her other version of this...
this sounds like a joke but I'm not even effing around about this.
I've never heard of this lady and I heard another cover version of this song , from her , for the first time an hour ago.
And this going to sound hard to believe but that other version is about twice as good as this one.
and I reiterate that I truly agree that this version here is absolutely superb, sublime. I agree that this *would* certainly be the best cover version of this song I've ever heard...
EXCEPT ... that an hour ago I heard this *other * version of this same song, from these same people.
AND YEAH IT'S EVEN BETTER....
so basically they're holding the #1 AND #2 spots as far as covers of this song ? , as far as I'm concerned at least.
I mean that's pretty crazy, I mean especially since I've literally never heard of any of these people til tonight, and I'm 58 years old.
It's kind of messed up to be honest lol, but in a joyous and simply smile-inspiring way...
