Use to bend material all the time on a break call a CONE. Unfortunately I lost my job 7 months ago, now I am at a new place grinding, clean up material. I do miss working on a break.
I've worked with these tools pretty extensively and can give them very little bad review, the only problem we have is when they get older they start leaving small bend lines where the dies conjoin, but if you put a 20ga wrap on it, it solves the problem nicely and makes a beautiful unmarred part.
Hello John, For mild steel, the thickest it can bend is 1-1/8". It varies depending on what material you are using and if you are using American or European tooling. As far as length goes, it can go as long as you want. Fab-Supply offers different models at different lengths. I hope this answers your questions. If you have any other questions please let me know. Thanks, Steve
LOVE them..on dumb machines, its impossible to put this in your tool library successfully. in any self calculating machine i've found it too much trouble to use. also this guy just throws his hand in there to change tools...know people who have lost figures that way :-/
Very ingenious!
In the past, I worked in sheet metal design, and manufacture of enclosures, and this would save buying a lot of tools.

That is amazing, fair play!! Really like that!!
This is an awesome brake die. It would make a structures mechanic jobs a joy to bend sheet metal.
Very nice bending supported with strong spring. thanks.

Hello
Sadly with longer parts, the thinner guage we have noticed rippling between where the dies meet!
if you look at 1:54 and also at 2:11 , you'll see it does bend much further than 90 degrees , nice tool , wish i could afford it
was that Plexiglass?
great idea BUT die is very wide and it makes pressbrake unable to bend 2 bends that are close together and opposite direction...
i have done before one year this type
Very Nice!
Wher we can buy this tool
dont forget the million dollar press
good idea, what is the life of tool.
Waw how can I contact the company I would buy this item?
Cool idea

I wasn't greatly impressed until I saw the 10mm plate bent at a very tight radius. Could have it's uses.

Shouldn't be wearing any jewelry when operating a break press. Typical salesman.
