the neck on your top is called a "boat neck" and you did a great job. FYI: sideways lines usually seem to make someone with my build larger. (I'm a size 14-16), but that looks really good on you and didn't make you look fat, the cupping around the back really is genius. 😆
wow... u made that so easy... like so many videos do.... i will just keep looking until comfort sets in... thanks... love it by the way... wonder how it would look in blue...hmmmmmm
Beyond cute! Have you tried this using different materials? I'm thinking about using a fabric similar to silk to recreate this top and I'm wondering if it would have the same flow and effect as the jersey knit does.
+ItssaLyssa96 it's not 6 inches from my shoulder to the elbow 6 inches is my neck hole and I measured 21 inches from that I found my neck hole when I folded the fabric to measure out the front and back from my desired measurements
I went terribly wrong somewhere in the folding and cutting process. I cut along with the video, opened it up and had 2 shabby pieces of fabric. Not one full oversized circle. what did I do wrong??
Nice post! I am laughing because today's knit fabrics are like paint; you are sewing like an artist! Well done.
This sooo darn cute & easy to make👍🏾💯👍🏾💯. Girrrrrl u did it ❤️💯❤️💯❤️

That’s beautiful! Nice for the beach or a chill day in general. Or you can even dress it up....🤗

seyi621 sounds like you cut on the folded side not the open side, a pretty easy mistake to make.
Cute!!!!
