B Position moves the pressure to the front and is better for pumping. It allows more leverage mostly used for Wing Foiling, Surf Foiling and Pumping. For Kitesurfing A position is the best because of the higher speeds and resulting lift of the wing.
It will depend on your board, weight, and wing being used. I tend to use A setting on all wings up to the 84 and 99. Those tend to be better in B setting for most boards because they like to be ridden so far forward under your stance. -Tucker
@@svennorthwest6233 Hi! I just found your comment here... Have you actually used the Space Skate wing for wingfoiling? I do have the Quantums, but my girlfriend wants to start winging and I´m thinkig about weather I should give her a Quantum (850 or 1000) or the Space Skate for learning. She weights only about 55kg and has no prior watersport or boardsport experience... If so: really on position B? For kitng I used the Space skate always in A. Thoughts? Thanks for your advice!
Can you tell me the best position for the Quantum 100?
Sorry for missing your comment from earlier. 🤙🏽 Do you still have questions that we may help with? -Aaron
No thank you Aaron . I switched to Carbon and ptm1001 and i am Happy with it. Thanks anyway 👍
How does the mast position (A or B) affect riding performance/characteristics?
