Great video, I loved watching the pot boil 😅 cooking is such a great way to generate organic asmr sounds, and I find watching people do tasks very relaxing. This was great!
When since you're doing an egg bath and breadcrumbs, you can add all your seasonings straight to your breadcrumb mixture. Just make sure that they're well incorporated before you start breading your chicken.
Also, getting your pan and oil up to temperature before you put the chicken in will give your a crispier finished product and cook your chicken faster.

Different people do it different ways. It’s OK if we don’t all do it the same way. I think it looks delicious. And I’m going to do it exactly the way. Lloyd did it. The only thing I’m missing is the mozzarella. Thank you Lloyd. this was wonderful! 😊
@@sweettexast2894it’s just a helpful tip. Preheating pan and oil also starts cooking the chicken right away vs putting the chicken in a cold pan with cold oil, at which point the breading is just going to soak up the oil and result in an oilier, soggier end product 😊 keeping the lid off while frying the chicken is also a good idea to avoid condensation building up, which can also take away from the end product being as crispy as possible. Lloyd did a great job as always, and I don’t see a problem in sharing cooking tips 😊
@@easmr1Thanks came to say the exact same thing. It should be noted that there is zero condescension here it's just a relation of experience. No one is expected to 'know' these things, its through generations upon generations of making food that we learn why what does what and then we apply that to the process to create the best experience for everyone involved.
He mentioned pre heating the pan till it gets hot, then put the oil in. With the pan already hot, once you put the oil in there's no need to wait to put the chicken in. TMYK
I really enjoyed the cooking video framed as an RP-- I find the extra layer of separation from reality to be most effective for relaxing.

I really needed to tell you how much this video (and most of the rest too) has helped me in the past couple weeks. Im a terminally ill single mother of a 5 year old little girl and after being semi stable for a few months my liver has decided to just completely stop. The hospital they always send me to when im doing this bad is in Philadelphia and i absolutely hate it (the unit NOT the city lol). Coming to the end of the video and it looks delicious. I’d suggest keeping 1 or 2 spoonfuls of the starchy water the pasta cooks in and adding it to the sauce when you serve to achieve mantecatura and add more body to the sauce /make it stickier for your pasta.

Hey Lloyd! I love your cooking videos! They’re probably one of my favorites, especially the butler series. I waited to watch this before bed and now I want chicken parm. Guess that’ll be lunch tomorrow.
Here’s a tip for making breaded chicken cutlets. Slice the breast in half then hit it with the tenderizer. This sliced breast is called a scallopini. It comes out thinner and crispier. Great for sandwiches too!
Also with chicken or pork, use the dry - wet - dry method. Flour then egg and then breadcrumbs. The flour helps the egg adhere to the meat. For your flour seasoning, use salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, oregano, thyme and basil.

Not too long before COVID, my parents went to Europe for their anniversary. I requested that they get me a souvenir from each country they visit. What they got me was a chef's hat and apron that are very obviously from Italy. So, when I prepare an Italian meal for them, I wear those things and shave off my beard, but not my mustache. And while I'm working, they call me Luigi (my real name is Chris), and I call them Mama Mia and Papa John.

I've learned to make chicken parm over the last year; only difference between this and mine is I put it in flour before putting it in the egg yolk.

In Australia, it’s chicken parmigiana/parma that we cook. Real pub classic here! Crumbed chicken schnitzel topped with sliced ham, Napoletana sauce and grated mozzarella cheese.
No fettuccine though, just salad and chips served on the side
