Terry is great And is being written perfectly. He is in complete control of himself and everything he does is calculated. You have to love where Terry is going in season five
One very interesting point. The moment Miguel's back made a decision and the camera shows the audience, you can see the reaction from every single character but NOT Robby. His reaction is not shown. Personally I wanted to see his reaction to Miguel's scream but the writers didn't show it.... I wasn't interested to see Kreese, Silver and so on.
they did show him exchanging looks with tory when they were waiting for miguel to come back in that 1 minute time. they prob didnt show his reaction to save storytelling moments like that for season 5
Johnny didn't forget anything, he didn't know...he was dreaming and Miguel just happened to think that Johnny was awake conversing with him. Once he realized that Johnny was in a dreamlike state, the damage was done because he now knew that Johnny really wants to be their for his son. What Miguel doesn't know though, is that Johnny also sees Miguel as a son as well...Johnny is just proud of Miguel though and doesn't feel like he is failing Miguel.
Well. We said Johnny forgot because he didn’t remember something he said while drunk. Comes down to choice of words because we agree on the facts from what i read.
"What Miguel doesn't know though, is that Johnny also sees Miguel as a son as well..." I don't understand how you are coming to the conclusions you are coming to. Johnny literally talks about his inability to be a father, yet you are saying that Johnny has a great relationship with Miguel and views himself as Miguel's father. Johnny views himself as a father to Robby only, which is why he is still failing in that relationship. Johnny still struggles with being a father. Johnny spoke about this in S4E7 to Miguel. Johnny was acting strangely with Miguel because Johnny was forcing himself into the parental role with Miguel. Then, when Miguel said that Johnny can still be his sensei, Johnny went back to his usual behavior with Miguel. Nobody says that Miguel doesn't deserve a father figure, but the story from the start has been that Johnny does not think of himself as a father or father figure to Miguel. Johnny's dialogue has been distinct. He only uses words like "sensei", "teacher", "student" for his relationship with Miguel. Johnny also only uses words like "father", "parent", "son", "my kid" for his relationship with Robby. Don´t know why people overlook this things and try to push their own agenda...
@@darklondon4425 you're on about semantics is all...the role Johnny has been playing is father figure to Miguel, but neither him nor Miguel would call it that as that is a foreign concept to them what a good father is. They both unconsciously feel it though!
@@Mr10before9 Unfortunately, open communication is very important for a healthy and stable relationship. Johnny tried it, in 4x07. Both have agreed that it is not a father-son relationship, it remains with Sensei students. I know that the things Johnny did for Miguel are also what a father would do for his son. But unfortunately we've clearly seen in several seasons that Johnny only sees Miguel as his student and helps him to make him feel better. Johnny finds pleasure in everything that Miguel does, which makes him feel better. It becomes very clear that Johnny very often only thinks of himself and not of others. This is best seen when he talks about Robby. He then always explains to Miguel how much it hurts him that he is not a father to Robby. It hurts him to see Robby spending time with Daniel etc. But he never thinks about how it makes other people feel. So Johnny is definitely not aware of how Miguel sees the relationship with him and what his requirements are.
What Daniel is wrong about Sam is that she didn't cheat or fight a dishonorable way. She fought a different style. Plus Johnny never sought out Sam. Sam went to Johnny because it's obvious she prefers his style more.
