Can you tell me how best to attach the shamrocks to the twine to make a garland? I have made 4 -3 leaf & 4 - 4 leaf
Yes! I usually weave the twine through the back-to front- on one leaf space and front-to-back in leaf next to it (same clover). I do not tie knots, so I can add ribbons and adjust spacing later. I can message you a photo my friend!

Here you go!
Magic Ring
☆Chain 3
(Into MR): TC, DC, TC, Ch. 3, SS☆
*this completes 1 petal *
Repeat everything between the two stars ☆☆ to make additional petals. You may make 3 or 4.
Once petals are done, close up hole by pulling tail.
Stem:
Chain 6
SC into second chain (skip 1st)
SS into next 4 chains.
Finish off by SS into MR.
Fasten off.
