@@NicolinaDanielle Short answer, they fit the ominous atmosphere the music creates. Long answer. They make me feel like I am having an outer body expirince. I am in a plane, I can smell jetfuel. I get a bit scared but then their is a bang, the plane breaks apart and I can see houses beneath me. While everyone around me on my section of the plane panic like trapped rats in a falling tube, the peace that washes over me is serene as I take in this spectacular, once in a lifetime expirience. Also, make me feel like I am on heroin or a disociative drug like ketemin, while on a plane.
Wishing airtravel would return to being relaxed again and delete TSA examination nightmare. We can handle any security problem in flight as we always did, no TSA.
it’s insane that they changed the key to this song to be the exact same riff basically as the unreleased nirvana song Don’t Want It All on the with the lights out box set. it’s so close it’s amazing but failure wrote this song back in like 92 or even before that and kurt might’ve written don’t want it all back then too but it was unreleased until the box set and this song just happened to land in the same key.
Failure is one of the best bands in my opinion. The fact that they are little known is a tragedy yet also beautiful, like a hidden gem.
Agreed.
Let’s hope they find it worth continuing.
The live performances of this track from the early 90's with Greg Edwards on fretless bass are phenomenal.
I remember listening to this while flying. Perfect lol
You’re braver than me! I purposely avoided this song the last time I flew, lol!!
An absolutely incredible song, such a haunting masterpiece. I love the guitar tones and the mix is just astounding. I love the lyrics. I want to melt.
Exactly! 💖
Why do you like the lyrics?

The more I listen, the more I discover.
This album is suddenly hard to find anywhere on streaming platforms. And that's a damn shame cuz it's one of their best.
I trust nothing - that's why I still buy or download.
Such a great song. One of their best!
Just Beautiful
The distortion @~3:35 is so fantastically haunting
it’s a crime that this isn’t on Apple music
Love Failure's dark creeping style & cosmic horror atmosphere.
This and 'Death' by The White Lies. Best songs while flying in a plane ;p
Where are all the cave in fans? Where are all the failure fans?
