However, wealth without Jesus is also a snare: many of those people are drawn to suicide- hence, the founder of Sweet and Low (sugar), in old age commits suicide; a woman’s teenaged son suddenly beats her to death, etc. In other words, no one is safe outside of Jesus; it’s just when you are poor you are more vulnerable so to speak.

Omg. My friend had a similar issue. The lecturer had been making their scripts all along but for the finals he complained about not seeing or being able to read his handwriting. He had to fast and pray 🤲🏽 until the guy gave him a mark.

Also my mom pretends to be in need and begs at a gas station. She recently gave that money to my son for his birthday. So I immediately thought of this scripture (Proverbs 13:11) and told him no, let me replace it with good money. I didn’t allow him to use it. I love how God always confirms.

@@annea5781 So if I gamble in a slot machine. I sit at the machine all day and I put in $300 without ever winning….someone comes and plays when I get up and they win $300 or more. They have just received what I have lost and you consider that ill gotten because they didn’t work for it.
@@annea5781 You have to move in wisdom. At the time my mom was either high or drunk, maybe both. I didn’t want to argue. So I will give the money to someone who is really in need so that the people who gave it to her will still be blessed from their giving.

So we put the money in a plastic bag and when I come across someone who is truly in need I will pass it along. This way the people who gave to her still have helped someone.
