This is impressive journey and landscape of cities since they were bombed near the times of the Korean wars followed by floods and famines.. beautiful country
In the 1960s south korea was way behind north korea...and in DPRK there's cheap public transport and so cars aren't actually needed especially as fuel is scarce bcoz of sanctions...
looks so impoverished, most roads unpaved, no vehicles other than bicycles, i didn't see one street lamp anywhere so it must be pitch black darkness at night, very basic design for all structures,
Poverty is nonexistent in North korean because their system isn't run on money. The people ride bikes everywhere because it's better on the environment. Most roads are unpaved but well kept because they have a more rural landscape and they're not as industrialised sure but it's beautiful.
No cars, cannot afford them. It's nothing to do with saving the planet. They have no concept of global pollution due to the fact they have no contact with the rest of the world.

18:19 Wow! Kyosan japan railroad crossing signal
Hey.

1:47 - 2:25 disassembled trolleybus line of second Hungnam route
Yeah I I noticed that too, it's the road from current Hungdok trolleybus terminus right?
I'm just not sure if it was ever in service, isn't it possible that it was perhaps left unfinished with some poles already intact?
thank you for your video, nice train ride
Beautiful country!

Cliff Works Blame the US and it’s forever war against this small but proud country for the stuff you describe. It is nothing short of genocide. Shame.
