      @@RudraDirtTrails when you live here you can considere that price abusive. 15-20 € is a regular price in a restaurant with first class ingredients for a salad. North Spain is where you can eat absolutely fabolus with a lot of good restaurants and a complete collection of Michelin Starred ones.
      BTW, because of my former job I've travelled Spain and a half and Madrid is one of the worst places to have a drought beer: too much froth, no consistence, poor gas and tiny glasses.
      Second BYW: usually potatoes go UNDER the octopus so they can get all flavours.

    • @asuntosvarios7456
      @asuntosvarios7456 2 месяца назад

      Realmente no.
      Las tapas se regalan con la bebida. Lo que se cobran son las raciones (y las medias raciones).
      En algunos bares especialmente "modernos" los precios de raciones o medias raciones son más elevados. Si vas a un bar tradicional, un bar normal, los precios son mucho más asequibles y sin embargo la calidad es excelente. El plato de pulpo a la gallega del video, por ejemplo, tiene un aspecto sensacional y está a muy buen precio. Cuando lo he visto no he podido evitar salivar, la verdad.
      Por cierto, lo propio en Madrid es acompañar las raciones con cerveza Mahou (la que toma casi todo el mundo aquí). Se hace con agua de Madrid -que es muy pura- y es una cerveza magnífica.

    Wow Spain is more expensive than I thought. Order some of those dishes and some drinks and you're running a tab of €40-50 a head. That's too much for a simple standing meal.

      This is quite a pricey neighbourhood. There are a lot of cheaper places around. Quality is good here though.

      Spain Revealed - James Blick thank you for replying. I guess it’s the same in every city. I need to do more research.

    LOOOOOOVE Ponzano... :-D for the friendly people, the food,... and (a bit of topic,) my favourite trailrunning shop used to be there + the Suunto repairservice too. You've got to do some sports after all that eating, no?! ;-)

    Hey James and Yoly! I'm in Madrid right now for a short stay and have been using your videos to inform my food choices for days! Reading up on flamenco now (on Yoly's website) and happened upon this video just minutes after it was posted! Looks like I might be changing my plans for tonight/tomorrow!!

    I'm trying to find out if I can become a spanish citizen because my mother is Cuban. We live in miami. Having trouble finding the answer via google.

      Am Cuban too and my dad was born in Galicia and I could be a citizen because one of my parents is Spanish by birth,but am ok with US citizenship...anyway,go to www.expatica.com/es/moving/citizenship.....good luck.

      Si tu madre es cubana... no te van a dar la nacionalidad por ello. No rebusques que no hay más.
      Si tienes tú la nacionalidad cubana y resides legalmente dos años en España puedes pedir la nacionalidad española, eso sí.
