  • I have always wondered how well the Nokta PulseDive and the Nokta Pointer can pick up a small gold nugget. In this video, I put them to the test. I had some interesting results, and I give my recommendations for those gold prospectors out there who desire to do some underwater sniping for nuggets. Remember, these pinpointers can also assist the detectorist on land when look for nuggets as well.

    Like to see this with the legend with 6 inch coil in Goldfield. Need more stuff like this. Hardly any picker nugget test with legend.

    I think that unit comes factory set at a really low frequency. Try cranking up the sensitivity and maxing out the frequency. Higher the better for gold.

    🤔 Also...I bought my Nokta Makro Simplex+ from Kellyco (I love it and I trust the commpany). I just ordered the Minelab X Terra Pro Metal Detector from them and wondered if you've used it and/or have done any videos on this machine? Do you have an opinion about it? 🤔

      I’ve never used the Xterra. I’ve heard some good things about it.

      You have the Simplex ULTRA, its better and the same price. 🙂👍

    • @carolrice2063
      @carolrice2063 Год назад

      The X-Terra Pro and the All Metal Mode is ALOT easier to get to on the X-Terra 1 Button Push and the Simplex+ is a 5 button push to get to it And the Simplex Ultra is a 6 button push from Field 1 to be able to check out a Target Signal that is just sounds a little too good to be true and the Minelab X-TERRA Pro is also a changeable frequency and the other Detectors are not and you don't have to be at Full Sensitivity to hit a target and I have mine at 12 Sensitivity and still getting Targets that are in the 4-6 inches deep range and when it comes on a rainy day I think I can bump up the sensitivity to 18 but I don't go to the full sensitivity on any detector that I have ever owned unless I want ground Feedback and want to Dig to China.....

    So it looks like you could miss a lot of small nuggets with this.

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  Год назад

      There is that chance. But, the Nokta Pointer would pick the smaller ones up. But I love my PulseDive underwater and as my land pinpointer.

    😆 If you drop THAT particular vial of gold in the water... It's gonna' float away 😝!!! (No need for a detector to find it)

  • @3dbunkers
    @3dbunkers 8 месяцев назад

    Do you have to stir the rocks with the pointer and hope to touch gold?

    • @southernrelics
      @southernrelics  8 месяцев назад

      The PulseDive is one of the best pinpointers made that is 100% waterproof to over 200 feet.
      It is mainly used for finding coins and jewelry when diving.
      I was giving a demo of what it would do when a gold nugget is passed by it.
      You don’t have to like it, and I appreciate you watching the video.

      @@donaldblank8873 that’s really tiny. I may be wrong, but that is 0.065 grams. I don’t believe any detector will even pick that up unless it’s touching the coil.
