Gotta maver storm rider mk 2 day shelter as a back up to my Fox classic 1 man ...sets up pretty quick cracking protection so long as the wind doesn't change direction as open front... high winds didn't bother it ....informative as ever....keep em coming Keith. .
👍😃 talking about old bivvys do you remember when fox copied the nash titan with the explorer....very quick to go up Decent size ...but the water used to sit on the front then flood over in to the bivvy door way ....just scraped my one after 20 years Apart from that problem never leaked so I guess it was worth £320I payed for it Keep up the good work
Time for me start using mine again me thinks great bivvy .. just been fishing under cheap Nash ground hog brolly last few yrs even in winter .. probably not cleverest thing b fishing under in winter with been damp & that .. why do you say the ultralight is not great in the winter ? I’m just curious as it’s got a front & a winter skin & material is of good quality I would of thought
Best bivvy ever made ! I own 2 and still use them for 90% of my fishing
I've still got my pioneer ultra light and use it in summer aswell, best bivvy ever made good to see some of us still use them

I did actually use to get my Wide Boy in there, but it's tight both ends. Sold my Ultralite for a new Tempest v2 Brolly system.
Love my aqua pioneer also,no need to ever buy another bivvy unless something happens to it,must be over ten years old mine easily
