Finally you reacted to it, this is one of my favorites, especially for the lyrics. “What am I if I am only” always gives me goosebumps, referring to how a person nowadays isn’t worth anything for just being them and being human, if you don’t have or do something you’re worth nothing.
New to the fam. You would dig Stone Sour. Corey is lead vocals as well but a little lighter. I highly recommend Amon Amarth. Some legit F'in viking metal. So many faves. Under the Northern star is a good intro to them.
If you want to see what the drums looks like, there’s a guy on RUclips that makes drum charts of slipknot songs and many other metal bands. Just look up sodamlazy on RUclips.
check'n in on Slipknot Saturday! Looking for something new? How bout some Breaking Benjamin..Maybe start of with The Diary of Jane... Another band You'd dig is Chevell. Perhaps check out a song called Face to the floor....
The Gray Chapter has by far the best production and mixing they’ve ever had. Compare this to the single The Chapeltown Rag and that one sounds like absolute shit.
The Chapeltown Rag was mixed perfectly, sounded exactly like old Slipknot. Guitars were raw sounding, drums and percussion were in your face and heavy hitting, bass was excellent and you could hear it, vocals were great, everything was perfect and classic Slipknot. Don't know what your on, a polished sounding record doesn't resonate the sound of Slipknot. I love TGC it's my favorite album, but the sound of raw and uncontrolled chaos and rage is what Slipknot is, not super polished sound and super clean tones (as clean as distortion can get).
@@comradeautismo You think the drums were heavy hitting? Have you listened to much metal? Those kick drums are quieter than shit. The guitars also have no presence and are very muddy and thin. There are many albums out there that I can point you to that have what you’re calling powerful drums and production. Kin by Whitechapel released last year and has one of the best punchy mixes I’ve ever heard.
@@comradeautismo And no. It didn’t sound exactly like old slipknot. Their self title sounded really good but this doesn’t come close. Go listen to both and compare. Just because it has an imperfect mix doesn’t mean it sounds like old slipknot.
@@mutatednut geez, don't need to be an absolute dick. I, and many others, agree that TCR does sound like old Slipknot, the mixing is good. Yeah of course it's not perfect, nothing is ever perfect. And for your information, yes I do listen to metal, tons of it, from classic to new, I know quite a bit but I'd rather stick with stuff that I like. Again, no need to be a condescending prick, okay hon, I was stating my opinion and you just went and said "no your wrong and you are not a true metalhead", take that with as much salt as you want. I'm here just to enjoy metal music and watch others react to it. In the end, ahem... it doesn't even matter.

Omg I love you. This song belongs to be played live
Override! Though to be honest all of the remaining Slipknot songs are bangers so you can’t go wrong with any of them 🙃
@@xueiruc1550 idk if I ever heard it lol
"Override" and "The Burden"!
One of their most underrated songs!
KoRn-Seed!!!
That song is so crazy. Kurtis would love it.
"Kill You" is a dark one. Been pushing that for a while. Just waiting to see his face when he listens to it. Lol.
Totally one of my favorites, and also , i love your reactions! 🔥

Chapeltown Rag is good stuff man, stfu
You should do the Melvin's they're a trip. They help kickstart grunge I think Kurt Cobain was the bassist for a lil while before nirvana.
You should try some Lorna Shore Kurtis 👀👀
You should really react to 20 km/h by we butter the bread with butter I’d love to see your reaction to that acid trip of a song
It's not Slipknot, but I'd like to see you react to Corey's song with The Dead Deads called Murder Ballad II.
yooo u should listen to a little piece of heaven
Have you heard diluted?? Or only one??
Easily the best .5 song along with Override
You know the lyrics are not fully correct
