I really don't understand why funerals are forced to be mods. I'm an OG sims player, graveyards has always been included and they are, according to me, an obvious element of the game. Somehow they are not part of the sims 4 and it makes the whole "realistic" game play a bit difficult.
iirc the sims 3 had funerals? If you planned a party a little while after a sim had passed, funeral was an option for the party type Idk if it was base game, maybe seasons? But it was definitely there cause I never used mods for the sims 3 back in the day Why they'd then change that to mod content is beyond me
I really miss cemeteries from sims 3. It was so convenient that when sims died their graves would go straight to the mausoleum. I’ve lost so many graves in sims 4 because my sims die when I’m playing another family and their graves disappear.

Now I have it for the extra traits, menstrual cycle, body mods, and the realistic environment of every sim literally doing what we all know they'd do in the downstairs bathroom at Discotheque Pan Europa xD It def brings back the promiscuities of the Sims 2.
when i first discovered wicked whims i only really wanted it for the menstrual cycle and the attractiveness mood buffs and notifications after seeing them in a youtubers video, but after a while it got quite boring and all my sims did was ask for sex and run around naked. it also shocked me a bit in cas sometimes when i’d forget i have the mod on, and remove an item of clothing and just see all of their uncensored body parts💀
If you are interested in all of the SFW parts of Wicked Whims, but dont want the wicked part, the same creator has a mod called Wonderful whims which is very similar but much more wholesome

The extreme violence should have an option to play as a HITMAN. Killing random created targets quietly or loudly, and the better you perform, the more money and reputation for better missions are avaliable.

I used Extreme Violance mod for a bit -to get rid of the Sims that I hate- but tormenting and killing type of gampelay does not fit to me. The only "adult" type of mods that I cannot give up is WW, Basemental and SimDa Dating app if you consider that mod as an adult mod. MCCC is a life saver and UI Extensions is also such a great mod, but that's all for me. I don't like violence mods at all.
Honestly, the tormenting mod felt more cartoonish in concept than what I actually want in mods. Nothing wrong with people enjoying it; it's just not my thing
I appreciate the mod for adding realism to my game since that stuff does happen.. I've had to use the beatdown option as defense for robbers and such but as a rule, I don't use it to be violent towards others as it's not my style either.
Same and it's kind of hilarious watching vides from some of these simmers who are a bit way too into killing / torturing their sims like maybe you should be seeing a therapist instead of playing this...
@@makimastan iirc, you need to click (or maybe it's shift-click) a sim, and then go through the options to select Life Tragedies, then go through those to select something about the mod settings, and then there's an option for changing the speed. In my experience there doesn't seem to feel like much of a difference between them, so I always go for the slowest speed available. Usually I only have an event every 2-3 days, that way. (Though I only last played a few months ago, so that may have been tweaked.)
I've used (and still do) every single one of these except the funeral mod or the sugar life mod. I just never wanted it I guess but let me tell you! Right now I am going through a crazy story with most of these in play. That Life Tragedies mod is just amazing.

Great vid! But honestly, the most controversial one is DD, that allows woohoo interactions with all beings apart from adult sims (yes, even your fluffy partner), the mod is banned from lots of sites lol.

Wicked whims really saved the sims 4 for all over 5 days then I got bored again…. Thank god for the mods though at least we have dedicated modders in the community to help create some depth to this 2 dimensional game
I wouldn't call these mods controversial... I'd call them giving SOME kind of liveliness and character to what is otherwise a very bland, vapid, and inoffensive game that pleases no one on the same level as previous entries in the series.
Personally I don't let the toddlers go on free rampage but i like the option. Wicked whims add the Peepings. I like to set my toddler after tom peeping when he inevitably walks into my house and sits down to watch tv. Funny I'm ok w/ peeping tom or rarely tina peeping...but entering into house w/ children gets to creepy for me

For fellow addicts, depending on your willpower, don’t get this mod 😭 personally as much as I want to but knowing my addiction history I know it will trigger my addiction and I’ll go and try to get something.

I'm not sure on details but I think they are liable for whatever happens with their game, meaning not fighting "minor wicked whims" is equivalent to hosting it
Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, without most of these mods this game would be UNPLAYABLE, and they recently neutered two of them. I JUST want a mod that lets me kill child sims. Is that too much to ask? I don't even need to do it brutally; I just want the little bastards dead so I can have a tombstone to decorate their parents room. I can't even get that with the toddler eating mod.

I use extreme violence and once had my sim kill the grim reaper after killing a regular sim, the grim reaper immediately came back to life and basically became a regular sim (still having the grim reaper model and name, just not the voice nor career/the grim reaper job). Then, I reset the sims relationship with the grim reaper and had my sim try to become friends with him before violently killing the grim reaper again (autonomous killing was on), causing another grim reaper to appear and reap the grim reaper’s soul.
Not sure if it should stay that controversial though, considering the ATF mods (the ones that are actually illegal) hook onto WickedWhims now, not DeviousDesires

They have dedicated sites like for Basemental, Sacrificial and WW but WW's addons lead to Lover's Lab which needs an account for you to download stuff in.

@@axolotl195 there are dedicated websites for them and some have articles with links about it!
They have dedicated sites like for Basemental, Sacrificial and WW but WW's addons lead to Lover's Lab which needs an account for you to download stuff in.
