I’ve not watched the the end but great video , thank you so much for making it , I have been for about 8 years and it was quite rundown when I went everything needed a good bit of painting and I was there a day or so before the fire , I was staying on a Santa sleepover and one of the huts which were being used forSanta they had a heater and it started a fire .
Great video, really enjoyed this and seeing the history and evolvement of the park over the years, nice to see how far the park has come 🙂 would you consider doing anymore history videos like this for other uk parks such as Alton towers and Thorpe park
Wow what a very good presentation, excellent.Just to let you know the hippos were housed adjacent to the elephant enclosure .The area was called Home for the heavyweights,I remember it well it was 1986 .
Congratulations Adam, nice production of that with some great use of graphics. Would have loved to see more videos and some of adventureme style fade ins but I guess you could have ended up with hours of video... but what surprised me most was how new some of the attractions I thought had been there for ever were. It was really interesting to see you cover areas that others might overlook such as the food outlets, but there was one outlet I was waiting for you to say was launched in ???? but it never featured, can you think which one I'm talking about we both enjoy something from there. Amazing hearing how many times focuses switched, just at the time of big change right now. Mr UKTP Chessington thank you very much
Any video that starts with the bubbleworks music is a good video. My first visit was in 2010 and visited many times until 2018. I returned last year when world of Jumanji opened
I love that tune and bubbleworks smelt so good it isn’t the same now from when you had gone there in 2010 . Used to go for a day and my parents took picnic for us all it was busy but now it’s probably packed out a whole lot more nowadays.
Have lived in Chessington all my life & have seen it transform from a zoo to what it is today. Was a ride operator there in early 90's. All local residents still refer to it as "the zoo".
Do you get discount for living near , I think there was a certain distant ? I remember in the journey and taking forever to get even close in the car and thinking what a pain it would be in open season especially school holidays
@Sparkle3421 We get 4 free tickets per household a year, however you have to live within a certain radius of the park to get them. I will admit, I've not used mine for a couple of years now. The traffic in the peak season can be a nightmare but we have learnt to put up with it.
Awsome Video I Do love history videos of Chessington also the black buccanner supports & boat and most of the rest of it sits in a amusemnet park in new york along with a few other abandonded flats. Belived to be moved as they are building a new coaster on that spot
I went to Chessington as a kid and againas an adult and we were there again earlier this year, its still as awesome as i remember, my mum still has the video my dad took as he was riding the vampire, 1991 he had a video camera on his shoulder and he screamed 😂😂😂😂😂 i went on Rameses revenge the year it opened and got soaked, it rained that day so i didnt dry out at all, good job it was july!
I liked skyway, they still have some of them sitting around the back near the sealife. I like the atmosphere of Chessington, more so in the 90’s but it’s a bit badly run now I think.
Ohh and rattlesnake my did my back in I have back pain and so wasn’t greatest idea … bubble works was the best ride ever for me and not after they remodelled but original and I will love it forever 😂
it's the gorg in 5th dimension
I was definitely thinking toy story lol

@Sparkle3421 Yeah, I heard the original smelt of orange juice or something. I would love it if they bring Professor Burp back

Think it built a better reputation as a zoo than theme park to be fair, hoping a positive future
