Just wanted to say that I’ve just found your content… and it’s SO helpful! I went into the military after high-school, got out, and now an ICU nurse. I have such a strong desire to pursue medicine. But it’s just so over whelming! I’d love to pick your brain!

Hi! Are you planning to make a video for academic record enhancer post-baccs?

Hi Jenny! We're not planning on making a video on that topic just yet. What specific questions do you have? Feel free to let us know to help guide future videos.

@@PersonalPremed So, I am mainly looking at academic record enhancer programs because I've taken the majority of pre-med required classes (not all), however, it has been 5+ years so I don't think I would have much of a leg up on people who didn't take science classes. I feel like I would be a better fit for career changer programs due to the length of time it has been since I took a science course, but I understand I don't fit the typical profile for that. I just don't know how much of a "hard and fast" rule that is.

Because it's been more than 5 years, some programs would consider you a career changer. That being said, you’re going to want to reach out to specific programs to make sure that they will seriously consider your application. This also has the side benefit of letting the programs know that you're interested in them!
