To be fair, Apocalymon and the entire BT15 set just recently came out, so it was probably too soon to touch it. It'll most likely will get touched in the next ban list update though.
Eh purple is far from dead. Yes it has taken a huge hit but you still have so many options for milling and drawing that I would not call Purple neutered

@RezHero yeah I know, that Deck is absurd, and I was looking forward to the Deck because the Dark Masters are my favorite Digimon alongside the Tentomon-line (BT15 is like a belated Christmas gift for me lol). But yeah, no-there's no way Apocalymon will avoid the next ban list XD
I've probably typed this a bunch already defending Shine, but imo, thank GOODNESS Marcus did not get hit to 1. The entire deck revolves around that Tamer suspending, busted free evo or not. Hitting him to 1 would literally force people to most likely swap the BT12 Shine strategy over to the BT13 Shine, just so we can have weak Marcus swings. From looking at ENGLISH results, Shine is nowhere near as much of an issue as let's use Melga for example, constantly topping top 3s at multiple regionals, AND EVEN THEN, Melga wasn't hit until well after it had done its damage. Take the Greenville regional for example, not a single Shine in top 8. 2 within top 16. Does Shine have a lot of participation? Yep. Does Shine top consistently? Yep. Does Shine top consistently enough and stand above every other deck no question? Not even CLOSE. Love the videos as always even if we don't agree on the Marcus brother! Keep up the great content!
Purple is fine, it was too over the top if anything, this makes it still good but slows it down so non purple decks actually get to play their 3rd turn of the game
I think thats a Well think through banlist. With the new gabu Support and the doggos comming up we get 2 strong purple Decks and we dont want them going to fast. The geogreymon doesnt surprise, Play a yellow or Red tamer Out of Security is way to Generic. But why they dont unban some cards? Is Jetsylphimon still broken? In a Format with Combos of 3-4 Security Checks and Lots of trashing Effekts? I dont think so...give me Back my yellow hybrits
For me only 2 Decks of mine personally got hit. GeoGray for my Shine Deck BUT I can easily find replacement for the Geo....Eyes on the other hand hitting my fun deck Anubismon I'm not sure what to replace Eyes with BUT Anubismon gets an upgrade in like a month or so
pls Senpai can you make a short video with updated versions for the Decks of the last weeks? I just recently (within the last weeks) build some of your Decks (Marcus, Jesmon GX and Anubismon Rush) and now I'm a little in panic because of the Finals in December. xD
it's only one hit for the Marcus deck so I would just replace 3 of those GeoGreymons with different ones. You can choose between the BT11 GeoGreymon and the Starter Deck GeoGreymon.
Tommy coming back is...... so interesting. I dont know if he and the blue hybrid will come back, but I feel he might be great against machinedramon decks. I just dont know.
@@laststep56 I mean is a lot of decks can slot in that mechanic (not all of them but a good bunch), one or two of the options and you are good. It all depends on the meta at locals by the end of the day
@@daedricarmor yeah thats cap honestly. A small number of decks have an x antibody availble to play at all. Many don't even use them (looking at gallantmon). Also the x antibody option is only useful against strip decks if you aren't already using it. So you add brick to counter one or two decks? Only way that happens is if the deck is good. Thats not even taking into account the new Gomamon line and not needing to trash all sources to bounce or how sourai helps the deck
i hope the savior huckmon doesn't cause OTK people by turn 3, i love the tommy unrestrict allows blue to play the kuma hybrid line again my favourite :D
it makes sense they dont want to hit new cards that just came out therefore they are hitting older support hoping it affects the deck enough that you dont have to revisit it.
When will bandai sell their tcg to stuff to South Africa I'm tired of importing. We have tournaments here due to the demand and over 2 million players in Digimon. I don't know about one piece tho. However bandai believes it won't do well here despite 60% of the player base purchasing bulk cases and stores unable to keep up with stock due to us being required to import from Kai. I just wish Digimon wasn't made by bandai who as usual are too money centric. Konami is flourishing here and doing fine all of our Digimon players are or used to be Yu-Gi-Oh players me included, but the only barrier to entry is the high price of a single pack.
I hate the GeoGreymon hit exclusively because I just picked up the deck (haven't even had time to sleeve it) and the art is cool. I know the description mentioned that it interacted with Marcus to act like another GeoGreymon, so it's basically extra copies, but c'mon man. I love that art lol
It's too generic. If it originally just looked for Marcus then it would have been fine but since it looks for any red or yellow color tamers it just plays them. You still have access to security GeoGreymon that plays itself if git in security. You also got bt2 but that one might be too weak or slow
Bandai "So first off we'll make a really good purple draw engine that just so happens to be on the fan favorite Gabumon. Next is the release of starter deck 16 to really get the fans clamoring for the deck and get them buying like crazy at thier LGS. Then when they least expect it- 'BAM!' chop off their legs and leave them in pain.

Pick up yellow geogreymons or just change your ratios and slot in training cards once this goes into effect. Shine is still in a good place for now so you should be able to play that deck for awhile thankfully.
Hitting shine grey was so unneeded. The deck is mad overrated with how many bricks and little card draw and protection there is. Honestly nothing needed to get hit this format
how was it unneeded? That Deck cheats out so many cards like the Tamers for free with a couple of cards, can digivolve most of the time for free, has a Tamer that gets free checks, recovers himself and is also a blocker. Just a single Geogreymon can easily get a memory worth of 11-12 Memory for the cost of 2 just for hitting a Marcus in your security. All he needs to get is the 4 cost Marcus, let him attack, digivolve into Rize and play 5cost Marcus for free.
Training really broke that deck open. But honestly they should have hit looga alongside it. They hit mirage because of training too but left loogamon alone which I think is a bad choice
@@RezTheHero you misunderstand you hit neither in that case looga has a good matchup into mirage and bloom gets another boost this set. Mirage isn't overtaking looga especially if shine is slowed down, and looga was debatably the best deck anyway.

When did hpd become unrestricted? It was originally one of the first cards hit by the ban list so as far as im aware it is still at 1

it's the BT-14 Patamon that make this GeoGrey become too cancer, free lvl 4 evolve and playing tamer for free is brainded cancer
I recently got back into Digimon with the same deck. We are going to have to get creative.
The GeoGrey also to help pad against the upcoming Patamon vaccine deck in BT-14 cuz that deck does some disgusting things early game
