Closest you can get now is a single cab short bed F-150. One can still be had in XLT trim and 4 wheel drive.

My uncle had a Red and white 1983 Silverado. His was a rust bucket though.. They were very reliable though. His looked like it went through 15 tornadoes but it always ran perfectly.

When trucks were designed for function,not to impress your neighbor, what a great looking, practical design,bench seat, low step in height, low bed acess, room in the engine bay, great visibility, I would take this over ANY new truck.

Mudd Boss check out this video on the GM 3 speed manual, also better known as the famous
3-on-the-tree as the gear selector is located on the steering colum instead of on the floor.

Mismo aquí, mi padre tiene un 1981 cabina de tripulación Silverado de vuelta cuando yo era un niño. Que es cuando me enamoré de estos camiones y compré mi propio 1982 cabina de tripulación silverado. Es una lástima que tuve que vender mime en la primavera pasada debido a la falta de fondos o dinero para mantenerlo 😢

Awesome! Love these old videos. My first truck was a '82 custom deluxe 4x4. I eventually owned 7 square bodies, and beat the hell out of all of them. My new Silverado would never take that abuse.

Friend in HS had an ‘84 C-10 regular cab Scottsdale shortbed. Think it was blue and silver. Had the 250-6 and 3 speed manual. Good memories.

i just got mine a little over a year ago, 1983 C10 Silverado Long bed that’s baby blue and wicked white. Love the thing to death, still trickin it out though
