Thank you for watching and the nice comment! We truly enjoyed our visit at Vizcaya- the grounds, gardens, the mansion itself, the furniture/art, and its location by the ocean. Simply magnificent.
That maze garden has seen some better days, I'd imagine due to the occasional hurricane/tropical system they've had to regrow or try to repair it. I'm 41 now, but my parents took me and my sister there when i was 4 years old. The hedges were probably a foot or 2 taller than the size of a 4 year old and the shrubs were thick. They let us loose in that maze and I believe I got lost. I remember crying after my parents were joking about not being able to find me again. lol We all live in the South Florida area and I"ve been meaning to stop by again inside.
Stunning video. Thank you for the walk down memory lane. This reminds me I need to visit again the next time I get back home.
