You're one of my favorite channels online. I'm a UX designer who stumbled upon your work while trying to learn Sketch. You helped me learn Sketch and it seems you are also helping me learn Figma! Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge.
One of the best studying videos I watched lately (And I watch a whole lot of them). down to business, not wasting viewer's time, no 2 min sponsorship bullshitting! sound 10/10 video and editing 10/10 also, I liked we can see you talk while you work and it's not a voice over. You got my sub sir.
design undergrad student here. We're currently using figma to design and prototype a music app for android and ios interfaces. Figma seemed pretty overwhelming for me at first, (and still kinda does) but I've been playing around with different tools and features in the app and seeing what they do. Figma is a very powerful design software.
This video knocked down a massive wall between me being an observer of Figma & using others' templates vs. creating my own work. (I guess it takes a shelter in place to take the leap...) THANK YOU!
bro thanks for the playlist glad youtube reccommend me this i have been struggling from last 1 week where to start from i go through multiple playlist where they didn't taught the way i want ......i bet even this playlist is 5 years old but no one can beat this ... thanks man respect 💯
If you wanna test collaboration, let me know. I want to get started with Figma right away and would love to work with others on any random and fun project. I'm an Enrolled Agent and love pirates. I want to make taxes more accessible to everyone. I have some ideas started. Lmk.
If you already proficient in you current tools, doesn't matter it's Sketch/Invision or Adobe XD, embrace them! End of the day, it's just a tool you use to make design deliverables. But, If you were new to wireframing tools or don't have a mac, embrace Figma!
This was an amazing tutorial! One of the best I've come across. It was well explained, concise, to the point and also a quick one. Thanks for this. you've saved my day :)
Thank you so so much for this!! I have been looking around in figma NOT understanding what the heck I can do with it, since it's not too intuitive! This is a really big help!
Thanks for this video. I know that Figma was released years before but I had just learned about it recently. This video gave me an overview of the software that I needed to know.
Amazing... I have always wanted to learn Figma since I use Adobe Illustrator everyday as a designer. Your video was simple to understand and i have officially subbed. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
I moved from Sketch to Figma not long time ago and I'm very happy with my choice. Sadly that it's still PSD era and Figma doesn't support it. Thanks for the video.
I'm a data scientist who uses Power BI for data visualisation but this looks like a great tool to pick up to show UI/UX designs to clients! Thanks for the overview
Great intro, just what you need and no fluff, direct and to the point, efficient, smart order, easy to follow even from slightly different Desktop app. Thank you!
awesome tutorial, awesome video-editing, awesome lighting. awesome video all around! i personally don't mind seeing your face because it makes the video more engaging! i love your contents!!!
Awesomeness!! It looks like Figma combines Adobe XD's vertical ability of designing and prototyping and sharing and commenting with Sketch's ability to edit vectors and do more sophisticated editing within the app! Plus, its birth online and living fully online makes it even more accessible. Great education, Jesse, thank you!!!
My dad works in creating little games and apps in early childhood development. He has asked me to create a very simple app. It needs to: 1. Have a table with all letters of the alphabet, capital and lowercase, in random order. 2. Use a simple font that is easy for young kids to read. eg. not this one, as "a" is not how most kids will write it, and "I" (capital i) is impossible to differentiate between capital i and lowercase L. And "q" looks just like a 9. 3. Each letter must be in a tab on a table with all the other letters. The teacher will go through it with the child asking them to identify a letter. If they can understand it, they must tap the button, and it must change colour to show that it was a letter the child understands. 4. At the end, the app must calculate how many of the letters the child got right, and make a list of the letters they struggled with. It sounds much more complicated than it really is, but I am struggling to find an app/website that can help me do it. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much, Jesse! This video helped me a lot. I'm making my first steps in figma and it looks it's not that hard it's actually very similar to adobe xd but I now I think I like Figma more after watching your video.
Been using XD for some time but most agencies are using Sketch and are transitioning to Figma it seems. Great intro, awesome production and a quick cover of the basic features! Might be too fast for total noobs, but for users experienced with similar software it's a great pace. Thanks!
to the point, no delays, smooth voice, just awesome

Good call 👍🏼
I am in the Embrace Group, yeah!
Figma combines multiple tools and offers additional features. Using Invision in 2020 is insanity.
This is such a great and quick way to get people up to speed on designing with Figma. Thanks for helping the community grow!
Thank you so much, Headway! I’m so blown away that the design community is so welcoming!
