The CEO had NO concept of loyalty. Besides the spying on her, he literally left her wounded, in the dust, toggled between her and that scheming side chick, and continuously allowed her to get back stabbed and humiliated at work. For him to have the audacity to tell Promise that she asked him for him to trust her previously and NOW he wants to trust her is ironic and such a farce. He begged her to come to the company to help them with their problems and instead he allowed those problems to hurt her and malign her. I wouldn't sink that company either but I would have burned that personal bridge with him on it! She had people vouching for her, even their own shared guy friend vouched for her as he was there helping her get evidence but nada. CEO would rather listen to Mummy how to run his business and personal life. You get what you pay for and karma will soon follow. Promise just needs to step away from this Den of Iniquity and start fresh....far, far, away!
