You are correct as far as America's downfall because the next time the eagle is mentioned its feathers are plucked. So, come to Christ and He will heal you, brother. He will! But you truly need to _believe_ this. There's nothing He can't do, and we're nothing without Him. It's interesting that both the first book and the last book of the Bible say that they are STILL HERE now and it is relevant to all.
Joel explicitly prophesies that "Judah" (Jews) are the occupants of Jerusalem when the "Day of the Lord" arrives AND that "Israel" still remains "scattered among the nations…"

Israel had been carried away by the Assyrians almost 200 years by the time Jeremiah spoke those words. Yet he declares in no uncertain terms they will… share in "The New Covenant" and they will 'number as the sands of the sea, and the dust of the earth.'
"And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered. " - Gen. 13:16
In Gen. 49 KJV - Jacob Blesses his Sons - "… that which shall befall you 'IN THE LAST DAYS.'
The nations and peoples described in these God Given 'Blessings' are not to receive them until these... 'Last Days,' now.
Today, for the most part they are of every race, color, tribe and tongue, not knowing even their ancestry. They were declared - by God - to be gentiles just as were their pagan friends and cast to the four-winds, not eradicated - actually that's what Satan's trying to do now.
"Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God." - Hos. 1:9,10 (About 750/740 BC - To the Northern Tribes of Israel)
Are the 'Jews' "numbered as the sands of the sea" today…? … as the "dust of the earth?"
If this "Blessing" from "GOD" applies only to 'Jews' then God's "Blessings" are without power…, since in that case they are exceeded by man's lust… Because there are many peoples more abundant than Judah alone.
Not to mention that THESE BLESSINGS ARE NOT UPON JUDAH BUT ON "EPHRAIM."
"And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you IN THE LAST DAYS." - Gen. 49:1
Ephraim is absolutely unmistakable in identity today... Read Gen 48 & 49 and Duet. 33:13-17 - He received "a double portion" from Jacob and then later Moses gave him again a doubling of those blessings.
And Jacob Blessed The Sons of Joseph [Ephraim & Manasseh]
Ephraim (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:) Gen. 49:24
"The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads [Ephraim & Manasseh]; and let my name be named ["Israel," "Jacob" - not 'Judah'] on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth." - Gen. 48:16
This blessing is above and beyond normal inheritance and far exceeds the blessings on the rest of the tribes of Israel. - aside from the great privilege of Judah being the bloodline of Christ they inherit little else - here on Earth. Very blessed though they are.

So, knowing the vast wealth of territory, natural resources, prosperity, power and general abundance that would come to Ephraim "IN THE LATTER DAYS.." and IF YOU were the enemy do you think you might want to hitch your wagon to Ephraim somewhere in history to get your hands on all of those blessings?
Those are all the resources the 'Sons of Darkness' need to wage the latter day war and conquest - to form a 'ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT."
To 'procure' the enormous resources necessary for Antichrist.
For further evidence of this, just look around… right now in the 'here and now.'
Think of the woman in Revelations 12, "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head."
Judah the "crown," and Ephraim the only people in history to put the Moon "under her feet." The 'Woman' is Israel - all of Israel.
Ephraim, a multitude of nations (identical to states or peoples) organized as no other 'nation' ever, exactly as prophesied… AND the "Moon beneath her feet..." A miraculous identifier I'd say.

I walk with god. And when I pass through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil, because through Christ no weapon against me shall prosper. Azrael is going to come. We should not just be reading the Bible we should be actively walking with god and living by what we have been taught in the book. Jesus showed us how. We are but perpetual teenagers constantly rebelling against our fathers wishes. But he loves us enough to let us mess up for
Ourselves. We all should end up coming back to our parents at some point and admit they were right about all of what we thought was wrong. Its time to go back and talk to dad and apologize for being turds for so long. He loves us enough that he gave us himself in the form of a brother that died for us. As far as my mindset we are all siblings under god. But that also means we have to hold each other to the standards that have been set for us by our Father in Heaven. I only hope that the monster I know I am can find peace in the days to come. I came to god because I know I need him. Without god I’d be nothing more than a raging beast of gnashing teeth. I know I am not evil and by all rights I have the scars from standing up to people who were preying on another to show that I do love people. But my rage is toward the world. The way we treat each other and how far we have fallen. The evil people in this world who would do all manner of ungodly things to people just because they could and it was fun for them. I pray every day because I know what I am at my core and I only hope I have a place in heaven. I repent all the time and am harder on myself than anyone could ever be on me. And yet I still feel loved by god. I just try and go one day at a time anymore. I find myself more and more attached to god and I have always felt strongly about god. I feel the end is coming and I’m making sure that right now I’ve made my peace and I spend as much time with my family as I can. When it is time I pray that this heathen is granted access to heaven. I do everything I can everyday hoping that i have not forgotten something or overlooked something I shouldn’t have.

I've always believed that America is indeed what is written about in Revelations 18. And I am no where near a scholar on such matters considering some of the learned say that America is not in bible prophesy. How could we not be? It's all in Revelations.

Also, just looked up the greek translation for the seven mountains, that word translated mountain, can also mean hill, it means to rise above the plain.
What is more important is understanding the Hebrew idioms that John would have been familiar with. In Hebrew thought, a mountain can be a mountain, but it can also refer to a political power, a kingdom or empire. If they are symbolic, then you are looking for seven kingdoms that precede the Antichrist Kingdom. This is confirmed by the beast with seven heads which are the kings or kingdoms that the Antichrist's kingdom is built on. Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Medo-Persia are four of those kingdoms.

It's amazing how many people are taking wild stabs in the dark on prophecies and it clearly shows that they don't have discernment skills or the holy spirit in them to be able to properly understand the scriptures.

Read Matthew chapter 24 for answers. Also when you read chapter 18 of revelation as this fellow has stated, we have to keep in mind that a lot of the things mentioned in verses 12-13 aren't found in America abundantly because those items are found in other nations. The middle east and the Mediterranean area are prime area's for these items. Jerusalem and Rome slayed Jesus and most of the prophets. Jerusalem was slaying prophet's in the old testament long before Rome. We the American people can't be at blame for what some of our governments over year's have done. The Bible says those who are called and chosen to be taken up will not be destroyed with the wicked, you can't just read parts of the Bible for answers, you must read it all and study and meditate and pray for an understanding of the parables and metaphors from the one and only, Jesus our lord and savior, our most high priest and teacher.
