Thank you, I agree I am surprised there are not more Canadians making videos. I am far from a pro at this and do them for fun. I have an IC-7300 which has a built in tuner which helps but I find it seems to be best at 4 inches inside. You don't want the whip too deep inside. If doing POTA on 20m ssb remember to stay above 225. I wasn't doing that and it was hard to get 10 contacts. An American ham pointed that out to me and a huge difference.

I have a IC 7300 and with the length you suggested I don’t have use an external tuner. Thanks.
