Hi Isabelle, I recently purchased the Speedy 20 in Monogram Dune and love it, including the black handles which I think are a great modern highlight. I wear a lot of black, so especially in summer it lightens up an outfit but in a very coordinated way. Plus you don't have to worry about getting it wet. I have a few of the regular LV monogram, so this was a great addition. My first speedy. I love the size - it holds more than you think! Good luck :)
What about Fendi baguette in leather the mid size? It has a top handle and a cross body and easy access. Only thing that is a bit slouchy. If for LV the Speedy 20 Monogram is much better than the one in black handle which i feel so odd too. The color of the handbag is so neutral but out of a sudden with the black handle. It should at least match it with the strap color. For shoe Roger Vivier block low heel would be great. I am so tempted with the LV Speedy 20 in DE but have to really wait and see since i already have the Speedy 25 in DE. Great Wish list and Happy New Year to You and your family too 🤗

Love the sharing babe!!! My thoughts on the Chanel 19 - no. It’s a style that you’ll get tired off again plus it is delicate for mummy-life. I feel like the speedy will be a perfect addition for your current need as a mom - canvas is hardy, it’s spacious yet still small enough to look cute, and if you get tired of it in the future, so be it. Buy it because you need it now. Your lifestyle as a mummy will continue to evolve as your baby grows up, so your bags too. Another option is your ex-bag , loewe puzzle. I honestly think it’s fits for what you need now and in a decent price point.
I have actually checked it out the other day too! It’s so cute but the colour is a tad dark so I’m not a 100% sure..but a good alternative to the speedy! I love that it is less common so still definitely considering it😆
Happy New Year, Isabelle. First time here. I highly recommend Speedy 20 monogram. It looks so cute, classic, practical and versatile, and many ways to carry it. It looks small but It fits all the essentials, don't need to worry about being scratched, etc. The zipper does give lots of security, although most of the time I just let it unzipped, I still feel safe. If I don't have time to think which bags I should use in the morning, I would most likely pick Speedy 20.
My husband bought the trinity ring when my son was born last year. The only thing is that it does scratch easily from the other rings and also you need to place it carefully to have it fall well on your finger but over all love it!
I’ve had the slim version for 2 years and love it! Very unstated, not many people have it and love the mixed metals. Pertaining to sizing be careful! The trinity ring has a little bit of give - it rolls onto your finger so sizing be fit is important or on the colder months it can just roll off.

I have found that it takes almost one full year for everything to really go back to normal, even if you are the same pre-baby weight. it just takes a little bit of time. I am obsessed with my MZ Wallace bags when I am with my kids. I save my luxury bags for other occasions, but they are the best for baby and travel. And work bags!
Speedy 20 is great! I bought one when I was looking for a medium bag to carry with my baby too. It’s also a great option as you don’t really need to baby the bag and is not easily scratched or damaged. Another option could be a Lindy? It’s a good size,however might be harder to access and no cross body.
How about the Fendi larger baguette in Nappa? Gorgeous colours and slouch of you do not use an organizer . I bought a mini and love it - now considering the larger size ! Beautiful colours and easy use
I strongly recommend the Speedy 20 in monogram canvas; I own it and absolutely adore it! You'll find it just as delightful as your Chanel mini squares.

If you’re thinking of a Speedy I’d go with the 25 - with an insert with a cup holder you can also fit a short sippy cup upright, a spare nappy and a snack along with your essentials. You may not be there yet, but soon you won’t want to carry the separate bag. I also love my Hermes Evelyne but it doesn’t have a secure closure. I have an inset with a zip pocket to hold my wallet.

The speedy 20 might be a good one. If you still have your Alma bb, test it out with that one to see how you feel about that size. I don’t have the speedy 20 but I think it may be similar to the Alma (just a little bit more wiggle room in the speedy)
I definitely think a Speedy is a wonderful medium sized option. My B25 is my go to when I need something larger and don’t want to bring my diaper bag as well. You just can’t go wrong with the ease and durability of a Speedy.
Hey Isabelle, I think Celine has a similar bag to the LV Speedy that may have a better price point so maybe worth having a look? I also think the Loewe Puzzle has this good boxy design too. I saw a review on the Valextra Micro Babila that may be similar to the speedy too but haven't seen it in person but looks roomy and has a similar look but doesn't have all the logos. Actually I've been lugging around a Le Sport Sac Tote bag that has both shoulder and crossbody. It's not as stylish but has really been my goto. Mine is in all black and I love it so much I got one in white too... I have the RV Heels in the block heel and very comfy for me!! I want to get them in white! Hiiiiii. Regarding your trinity ring, you won’t regret going up 1/4 size larger than what you might consider your ideal size. The three rings stay together nice,y but feel more comfortable.
I have the Speedy 20 in Damier Ebene and love it! I don't use the strap that it comes with but use a different LV Damier Ebene strap with it. I used to own it in Monogram, but then sold it when the DE came out since it's more weather proof. Where I live it rains all the time.
Hi Isabelle! Love your videos!! I recently splurged and got myself a speedy 20 in the damier ebene for Xmas and being a mum of three I absolutely love it!!! It’s the perfect size to fit everything I need to carry and always being a monogram lover, I was surprised how better this looks on. It’s not too flashy but goes with so many of my outfits!! Admittedly I tend to wear more darker colours (white clothes with kids is a disaster for me 😅). Totally relate about spending this money on the speedy as I once had a Speedy 30 too back in the day which I paid less than 1k for.. but I’m glad I took the leap and it’s been one of my most used bags lately!!
I’m a mother of 2, and I have the speedy 20, medium puzzle and Marc Jacobs small tote bag (for more casual occasions) when I need something medium sized in cross body. I find all 3 very useful but I like the speedy 20 the most.
Agreed--the MJ Small tote is great for super casual and is very comfortable and fits a TON. I've got mine in the jacquard and it's a fuss-free bag that I love. The Loewe puzzle is great too for the amount that it fits! I also have the large LV odeon and it's another super casual, no worries type of bag that fits so much.
i just ordered the monogram dune, have not seen irl but i think its really pretty as the canvas is light so its not so ‘loud’ good luck with your choice

Love everything on your wishlist 😁 I think I went through a lot of the same type of "need" shift in the last couple of years. I got the speedy mng 20 before the strap became adjustable. I also got a blk small puzzle bag last year because I felt the need for a slightly bigger winter bag and has been perfect for cold and wet days. My fingers and feet have also gone back to normal, so I hope that helps to hear. 😊 I've started wearing more wedge and platform heels since kids. For super dressy occasions I still wear the higher heels, but I'm shorter than you 😛

Happy new year Isabelle! I have been obsessed with the speedy 20 for a while now also. It is the perfect speedy size for my petite 5’2” frame. But I didn’t want the regular monogram one. I have a few mono bags and like them but didn’t want another. I wanted the taupe colored empreinte one but was waiting for LV to make it in the single color not the bicolor with the cream letters. Just so it looks more understated from a distance. Well then I saw the little cream one with the black handles and I was smitten. The black does look very contrast-y against the cream but it adds some cool neutrality to it. Also I have a thicker black strap from ny LV Odeon that is an amazing soft leather strap that I think would look so great with it. I couldn’t resist it and got it. I know I’ll get another bag this style and size and it may be the taupe empreinte one but I’m also going to add the mini Lindy in etoupe or another taupe color to my Hermes wishlist. The Celine mini bag in this shape is cute but a bit fatter so I prefer the shape of the speedy 20. TFS your wish list. Always so fun!

Suggestion - for block heels, I love ferragamo in vara/varina styles. They are classic and last many years re wear and tear. Or Chanel slingbacks block heel.
After babies are born, I think Speedy bag is always a consideration for moms because of all factors that you mentioned. I bought mine about 20 years ago (when the price was really great) because I wanted a diaper bag. Although I don't carry it much these days, it is always good to have bag like Speedy. It's functional and durable. I think you should consider it 😊
I recommend considering: 1. Mulberry zipped mini bayswater - I don't find it super heavy and used to toss in 1 diaper, some wipes in in a small baggy, an extra baby outfit plus your essentials no problem. You can just chuck things into it. Top hand and crossbody. 2. LV palm springs mini - I don't have one specifically but I have another bag the same style. You can chuck things into it. As a backpack you are free to hold and carry your kiddo. 3. YSL niki - I don't have one but I use my YSL puffers frequently. It is super super handy to be able to go from shoulder to crossbody. The Niki does that too and would probably be more hardwearing though than the puffer. Magnet slightly fussy. 4. Loewe flamenco - I have the mini but I think the bigger sizes would be great! The magnet is easy in and easy out. No separated compartments so also just chuck things in! I think the Speedy 20 is too small if you want to fit in a spare diaper and an extra change of baby clothes. You may never need the extra baby outfit but I have been out and about and had to buy new baby pants while out and about because of diaper explosion--but it can happen in a location where buying a new outfit is not an option. And when baby is bigger you may not be carrying the diapers or spare clothes but you still may want a bag to fit in small toys and snacks so I think the Speedy 20 is maybe better for when you kiddo is older than 3 or 4 years old. And no to a light colored speedy. Once your baby is bigger but you are still carrying her she will kick your bag with her dirty little toddler shoes while you are wearing it crossbody. Kick kick!
If you are not sure about the LV monogram, you should try to find something in the second hand market. For seasonal product, they usually not able to hold their value, so not worth paying full price. Also, if you are going to run errands with it, then you can use it and not worry about getting scratches.
Not sure what the background noise is but it took away my attention. I've been thinking about adding the speedy 20 in DE but I totally agree with u that it's so expensive now we better make sure we love it before we buy. Are the pumps you mentioned comfy for walking?
I have the speedy 20 in monogram. Mother of one, soon to be two and it’s perfect! I bought it preloved without the strap for AUD2k and I use it with a Vachetta strap. I find it to be super carefree and highly recommend
Just go with the classic Speedy 😊 The Speedy B 25 in DE is also in my wishlist but everytime I look at my Fendi Boston, I forget about my Speedy. The Fendi Boston is way better and nicer, for me ❤
Do you like the Speedy 20 web strap? Many don’t and sell it for a good price on the resell market which would make it less expensive and you can get another LV less pricey strap. How about also the Celine small Boston, Loewe medium Flamenco without the gold Loewe lettering (think that’s my favorite recommendation!!) or Loewe small puzzle bag (like the original vs edge)?
How about your Chloe bag as a medium-sized bag? Is it too small? Personally a big fan of that 😅 Also a new mum, bub is nearly 5 months, so definitely understand the hunt for that style of bag 😊
Oh I did mention in the video that I want one with a secure zip/flap closure☺️ I do still love my Chloe tote, but sometimes things fall out when the bag tips over when I’m driving😅

I have the speedy in the empriente bandouliere which is a nice medium size bag. I like it more than the canvas version. I’m currently eyeing the YSL puffer and Loewe flamenco bags which might be good options for you too.

I have a 5 y/o and enjoying my small Loewe Puzzle as a mid sized bag. Currently I am considering the Niki baby as another option. I think the speedy 20 looks good but I struggling with the price. Paying more for a speedy 20 than for the 25 and knowing that I will also buy another strap, as I don‘t like the thick straps, keeps me currently away from that bag.
I preordered the Speedy 20 dune (the beige with the black handles) and I’m picking it up this week😍 I love the contrast with the black handles and I think this is perfect for us mothers to have the hands free. It also fits a lot! ❤️

Hey Isabelle, i love my speedy b 25 in damier ebene but i would say one thing that annoys me is the zip, that sometimes it takes 2 hands to hold one side and then to zip the bag, if i want to get into it quickly, i don’t open the zip all the way, and then i end up rubbing my hand on the zip which hurts a bit. otherwise i think it is a great size, my first luxury bag purchased with my big girl pay check, great style.

Ok I forgot to share mid size bag options. The Fendi baguette in the regular size is awesome! The lamb skin is pretty durable so far for me. I love my Chanel 19 but it is less carefree as it is lambskin also but seems less durable than the baguette, the pochette Métis but the empreinte can get heavy if you stuff it, the ysl small loulou or small Lou puffer, ysl camera bag in the regular size is a great everyday bag, ysl sac du jour, ysl college bag, the Celine mini Boston bag but it only comes in a couple colors, i love my Loewe puzzle bag in small but it is a bit bulkier than the speedy 20, and the Hermes mini Lindy if you wanted to spend more. Can’t wait to see what you get!

You have to see the Speedy from the dune collection live! In general I hate black, BUT in this collection the black goes really well with the light colours.... I don`t know why :-)
Happy new year Isabelle! I think Chanel 22 mini is a perfect medium size handbag! The name is deceiving it’s really not a mini these big fits the same as my medium lady Dior bag. You can wear it crossbody you can wear it as a shoulder bag or you can wear It is a handheld bag for a dresser occasion it’s really versatile. I personally do not recommend speedy for cross body wear, it doesn’t lay flat against the body and with the baby I think it will get in your way.

I didn’t like the black handles in the new Cruise Speedy… As for the Speedy 20, I decided to get a Celine nano Boston in canvas and I adore it! The treated leather, the saddle color, the size, it’s an amazing crossbody.
I think it is inevitable with any belt with a buckle! My Hermes belts are scratched too and I am ok with it😅 Thanks for sharing your experience though!
I love the Ivy WOC in that same Dune cream and tan monogram but it has a long black strap that does not look right. I guess it could be changed and used on something else.

Happy New Year! Great video and selection of Wishlist items! My go to mom bag is the LV bumbag in empriente leather. Such a carefree bag and stays put when I have to move around/bend over unlike a crossbody bag 😅! It carries all my essentials and I carry a cosmetic pouch in my daugther's diaper bag for any extras that I may need. Even now I carry the Longchamp Small Neo Le Pliage bag for my daugther, who is 3, as it is easy to throw under the stroller, carry snacks, wipes, etc and if I do need to place it on the floor or it gets dirty it is easily wipeable inside and out :). Looking forward to seeing what bag you settle on!

As you live in eastern Australia I would advise against buying a bag with vachetta. It’s very stressful trying to manage one of those when it rains a lot, especially when rain isn’t forecast. I would go with an all leather bag that can withstand all weather and doesn’t scratch easily. My most worn luxury everyday crossbody bag is the Pochette Métis in empriente. There’s also some great crossbody bags from contemporary brands too. My current favourites are the Aspinal Of London Large Lottie and the Strathberry Mosaic. Longchamp make some really nice beachy looking bags and with the race horse logo on the front they are so cute and different.
It has been so humid and rainy lately in Sydney for sure! I feel like the weather is becoming so crazy! Makes bag maintenance so much harder.. I'm a new mom as well and have the same issue of needing cross body medium bags. However I have a 20 and a 25 bandouliere and it's still NOT enough space... I wouldn't get a 30 just because it's too similar to what I've got. .. I am considering a neo one but don't know how comfortable the crossbodying is... also I have lots of monogram so i want something different... I have some flaps and still find them kinda size restricting even a jumbo, I think it's the layout. so I wouldn't get a 19. I'm quite lost now because I would be prioritizing practicality over everything and that means I actually need to try the bag to see how it fits in my life. The puzzle is at the top of my list now, I am also looking at an evelyne... still undecided.
I know people rave on the pochette metis but again the layout is no good for me I have bulky items. I dont know if the carryall has a removable strap so I can get the denim new one (lighter) but also use a longer strap to crossbody
Not (super) high end but what about the long champ le pliage energy bag in S or L? It’s a great grab and go, water resistant for accidents with a baby/toddler. Zips up and can be carried top handle or shoulder strap option. This line replaced the neo line which I think has a fair few good reviews on RUclips.
My mom bag at the moment is a coach bag similar to the LV ODEN. I’m a pumping mom so I choose not to carry a high end bag. My bag fits my portable pumps an 8oz bottle and my key cle. I can also fit a diaper n wipes if needed.
I have the speedy 20 in the damier ebene, I found it to look childish in the monogram. I imagined it being carried by teenagers- the damier seems much more refined in this style and the NF - just my opinion.

Happy New Year, Isabelle. First time here. I highly recommend Speedy 20 monogram. It looks so cute, classic, practical and versatile, and many ways to carry it. It looks small but It fits all the essentials, don't need to worry about being scratched, etc. The zipper does give lots of security, although most of the time I just let it unzipped, I still feel safe. If I don't have time to think which bags I should use in the morning, I would most likely pick Speedy 20.

My husband bought the trinity ring when my son was born last year. The only thing is that it does scratch easily from the other rings and also you need to place it carefully to have it fall well on your finger but over all love it!
I’ve had the slim version for 2 years and love it! Very unstated, not many people have it and love the mixed metals. Pertaining to sizing be careful! The trinity ring has a little bit of give - it rolls onto your finger so sizing be fit is important or on the colder months it can just roll off.

I have found that it takes almost one full year for everything to really go back to normal, even if you are the same pre-baby weight. it just takes a little bit of time. I am obsessed with my MZ Wallace bags when I am with my kids. I save my luxury bags for other occasions, but they are the best for baby and travel. And work bags!

Speedy 20 is great! I bought one when I was looking for a medium bag to carry with my baby too. It’s also a great option as you don’t really need to baby the bag and is not easily scratched or damaged. Another option could be a Lindy? It’s a good size,however might be harder to access and no cross body.
How about the Fendi larger baguette in Nappa? Gorgeous colours and slouch of you do not use an organizer . I bought a mini and love it - now considering the larger size ! Beautiful colours and easy use

The YSL Loulou in medium is a bag I gravitate to a lot as a mom. It fits a couple of diapers, a small pack of wipes, and enough snacks for my toddler!

If you’re thinking of a Speedy I’d go with the 25 - with an insert with a cup holder you can also fit a short sippy cup upright, a spare nappy and a snack along with your essentials. You may not be there yet, but soon you won’t want to carry the separate bag. I also love my Hermes Evelyne but it doesn’t have a secure closure. I have an inset with a zip pocket to hold my wallet.

The speedy 20 might be a good one. If you still have your Alma bb, test it out with that one to see how you feel about that size. I don’t have the speedy 20 but I think it may be similar to the Alma (just a little bit more wiggle room in the speedy)

I definitely think a Speedy is a wonderful medium sized option. My B25 is my go to when I need something larger and don’t want to bring my diaper bag as well. You just can’t go wrong with the ease and durability of a Speedy.
Hey Isabelle, I think Celine has a similar bag to the LV Speedy that may have a better price point so maybe worth having a look? I also think the Loewe Puzzle has this good boxy design too. I saw a review on the Valextra Micro Babila that may be similar to the speedy too but haven't seen it in person but looks roomy and has a similar look but doesn't have all the logos. Actually I've been lugging around a Le Sport Sac Tote bag that has both shoulder and crossbody. It's not as stylish but has really been my goto. Mine is in all black and I love it so much I got one in white too... I have the RV Heels in the block heel and very comfy for me!! I want to get them in white! I have the Speedy 20 in Damier Ebene and love it! I don't use the strap that it comes with but use a different LV Damier Ebene strap with it. I used to own it in Monogram, but then sold it when the DE came out since it's more weather proof. Where I live it rains all the time.

Hi Isabelle! Love your videos!! I recently splurged and got myself a speedy 20 in the damier ebene for Xmas and being a mum of three I absolutely love it!!! It’s the perfect size to fit everything I need to carry and always being a monogram lover, I was surprised how better this looks on. It’s not too flashy but goes with so many of my outfits!! Admittedly I tend to wear more darker colours (white clothes with kids is a disaster for me 😅). Totally relate about spending this money on the speedy as I once had a Speedy 30 too back in the day which I paid less than 1k for.. but I’m glad I took the leap and it’s been one of my most used bags lately!!
Also, like you I’m constantly using hand cream so I don’t have to stress about the darker damier handles on the bag! Big plus!
I’m a mother of 2, and I have the speedy 20, medium puzzle and Marc Jacobs small tote bag (for more casual occasions) when I need something medium sized in cross body. I find all 3 very useful but I like the speedy 20 the most.
Agreed--the MJ Small tote is great for super casual and is very comfortable and fits a TON. I've got mine in the jacquard and it's a fuss-free bag that I love. The Loewe puzzle is great too for the amount that it fits! I also have the large LV odeon and it's another super casual, no worries type of bag that fits so much.

Love everything on your wishlist 😁 I think I went through a lot of the same type of "need" shift in the last couple of years. I got the speedy mng 20 before the strap became adjustable. I also got a blk small puzzle bag last year because I felt the need for a slightly bigger winter bag and has been perfect for cold and wet days. My fingers and feet have also gone back to normal, so I hope that helps to hear. 😊 I've started wearing more wedge and platform heels since kids. For super dressy occasions I still wear the higher heels, but I'm shorter than you 😛

Yes the black handle on the seasonal speedy 20 is not pleasant to me. I saw the bag in the store and it’s beautiful but without the black.
Happy new year Isabelle! I have been obsessed with the speedy 20 for a while now also. It is the perfect speedy size for my petite 5’2” frame. But I didn’t want the regular monogram one. I have a few mono bags and like them but didn’t want another. I wanted the taupe colored empreinte one but was waiting for LV to make it in the single color not the bicolor with the cream letters. Just so it looks more understated from a distance. Well then I saw the little cream one with the black handles and I was smitten. The black does look very contrast-y against the cream but it adds some cool neutrality to it. Also I have a thicker black strap from ny LV Odeon that is an amazing soft leather strap that I think would look so great with it. I couldn’t resist it and got it. I know I’ll get another bag this style and size and it may be the taupe empreinte one but I’m also going to add the mini Lindy in etoupe or another taupe color to my Hermes wishlist. The Celine mini bag in this shape is cute but a bit fatter so I prefer the shape of the speedy 20. TFS your wish list. Always so fun!

Suggestion - for block heels, I love ferragamo in vara/varina styles. They are classic and last many years re wear and tear. Or Chanel slingbacks block heel.
After babies are born, I think Speedy bag is always a consideration for moms because of all factors that you mentioned. I bought mine about 20 years ago (when the price was really great) because I wanted a diaper bag. Although I don't carry it much these days, it is always good to have bag like Speedy. It's functional and durable. I think you should consider it 😊
I recommend considering:
1. Mulberry zipped mini bayswater - I don't find it super heavy and used to toss in 1 diaper, some wipes in in a small baggy, an extra baby outfit plus your essentials no problem. You can just chuck things into it. Top hand and crossbody.
2. LV palm springs mini - I don't have one specifically but I have another bag the same style. You can chuck things into it. As a backpack you are free to hold and carry your kiddo.
3. YSL niki - I don't have one but I use my YSL puffers frequently. It is super super handy to be able to go from shoulder to crossbody. The Niki does that too and would probably be more hardwearing though than the puffer. Magnet slightly fussy.
4. Loewe flamenco - I have the mini but I think the bigger sizes would be great! The magnet is easy in and easy out. No separated compartments so also just chuck things in!
I think the Speedy 20 is too small if you want to fit in a spare diaper and an extra change of baby clothes. You may never need the extra baby outfit but I have been out and about and had to buy new baby pants while out and about because of diaper explosion--but it can happen in a location where buying a new outfit is not an option. And when baby is bigger you may not be carrying the diapers or spare clothes but you still may want a bag to fit in small toys and snacks so I think the Speedy 20 is maybe better for when you kiddo is older than 3 or 4 years old. And no to a light colored speedy. Once your baby is bigger but you are still carrying her she will kick your bag with her dirty little toddler shoes while you are wearing it crossbody. Kick kick!
About that medium sized bag, what about the Loewe puzzle bag (which I believe you still own?)
If you are not sure about the LV monogram, you should try to find something in the second hand market. For seasonal product, they usually not able to hold their value, so not worth paying full price. Also, if you are going to run errands with it, then you can use it and not worry about getting scratches.
Not sure what the background noise is but it took away my attention. I've been thinking about adding the speedy 20 in DE but I totally agree with u that it's so expensive now we better make sure we love it before we buy. Are the pumps you mentioned comfy for walking?
I have the speedy 20 in monogram. Mother of one, soon to be two and it’s perfect! I bought it preloved without the strap for AUD2k and I use it with a Vachetta strap. I find it to be super carefree and highly recommend

Just go with the classic Speedy 😊 The Speedy B 25 in DE is also in my wishlist but everytime I look at my Fendi Boston, I forget about my Speedy. The Fendi Boston is way better and nicer, for me ❤
Do you like the Speedy 20 web strap? Many don’t and sell it for a good price on the resell market which would make it less expensive and you can get another LV less pricey strap. How about also the Celine small Boston, Loewe medium Flamenco without the gold Loewe lettering (think that’s my favorite recommendation!!) or Loewe small puzzle bag (like the original vs edge)?

Oh I did mention in the video that I want one with a secure zip/flap closure☺️ I do still love my Chloe tote, but sometimes things fall out when the bag tips over when I’m driving😅

I have the speedy in the empriente bandouliere which is a nice medium size bag. I like it more than the canvas version. I’m currently eyeing the YSL puffer and Loewe flamenco bags which might be good options for you too.

I have a 5 y/o and enjoying my small Loewe Puzzle as a mid sized bag. Currently I am considering the Niki baby as another option. I think the speedy 20 looks good but I struggling with the price. Paying more for a speedy 20 than for the 25 and knowing that I will also buy another strap, as I don‘t like the thick straps, keeps me currently away from that bag.

About the bag, have you thought about the Alma bb? Not a mom (yet) but when my brother came to visite with his family and I walked with his son's stroller, I had the Alma crossbody, and it fits a decent amount and looks really nice (I'm curvy and it looks good on my body so I can assume it will look beautiful on you)

Hey Isabelle, i love my speedy b 25 in damier ebene but i would say one thing that annoys me is the zip, that sometimes it takes 2 hands to hold one side and then to zip the bag, if i want to get into it quickly, i don’t open the zip all the way, and then i end up rubbing my hand on the zip which hurts a bit. otherwise i think it is a great size, my first luxury bag purchased with my big girl pay check, great style.

Ok I forgot to share mid size bag options. The Fendi baguette in the regular size is awesome! The lamb skin is pretty durable so far for me. I love my Chanel 19 but it is less carefree as it is lambskin also but seems less durable than the baguette, the pochette Métis but the empreinte can get heavy if you stuff it, the ysl small loulou or small Lou puffer, ysl camera bag in the regular size is a great everyday bag, ysl sac du jour, ysl college bag, the Celine mini Boston bag but it only comes in a couple colors, i love my Loewe puzzle bag in small but it is a bit bulkier than the speedy 20, and the Hermes mini Lindy if you wanted to spend more. Can’t wait to see what you get!

You have to see the Speedy from the dune collection live! In general I hate black, BUT in this collection the black goes really well with the light colours.... I don`t know why :-)

Happy new year Isabelle! I think Chanel 22 mini is a perfect medium size handbag! The name is deceiving it’s really not a mini these big fits the same as my medium lady Dior bag. You can wear it crossbody you can wear it as a shoulder bag or you can wear It is a handheld bag for a dresser occasion it’s really versatile. I personally do not recommend speedy for cross body wear, it doesn’t lay flat against the body and with the baby I think it will get in your way.

I didn’t like the black handles in the new Cruise Speedy… As for the Speedy 20, I decided to get a Celine nano Boston in canvas and I adore it! The treated leather, the saddle color, the size, it’s an amazing crossbody.
I actually prefer the Celine Small Boston over the Speedy 20. My go to is the Small LOEWE Puzzle

Such a carefree bag and stays put when I have to move around/bend over unlike a crossbody bag 😅! It carries all my essentials and I carry a cosmetic pouch in my daugther's diaper bag for any extras that I may need. Even now I carry the Longchamp Small Neo Le Pliage bag for my daugther, who is 3, as it is easy to throw under the stroller, carry snacks, wipes, etc and if I do need to place it on the floor or it gets dirty it is easily wipeable inside and out :). Looking forward to seeing what bag you settle on!
Enjoyed hearing the items on your wishlist! The Celine belt is on mine too. I know you said you didn’t want a bag with buckles but I love the pochette metis as a mom bag!
As you live in eastern Australia I would advise against buying a bag with vachetta. It’s very stressful trying to manage one of those when it rains a lot, especially when rain isn’t forecast. I would go with an all leather bag that can withstand all weather and doesn’t scratch easily.
My most worn luxury everyday crossbody bag is the Pochette Métis in empriente. There’s also some great crossbody bags from contemporary brands too. My current favourites are the Aspinal Of London Large Lottie and the Strathberry Mosaic.
Longchamp make some really nice beachy looking bags and with the race horse logo on the front they are so cute and different.
It has been so humid and rainy lately in Sydney for sure! I feel like the weather is becoming so crazy! Makes bag maintenance so much harder.. I'm a new mom as well and have the same issue of needing cross body medium bags. However I have a 20 and a 25 bandouliere and it's still NOT enough space... I wouldn't get a 30 just because it's too similar to what I've got. .. I am considering a neo one but don't know how comfortable the crossbodying is... also I have lots of monogram so i want something different... I have some flaps and still find them kinda size restricting even a jumbo, I think it's the layout. so I wouldn't get a 19. I'm quite lost now because I would be prioritizing practicality over everything and that means I actually need to try the bag to see how it fits in my life. The puzzle is at the top of my list now, I am also looking at an evelyne... still undecided.

I used to own a pochette metis and you definitely can’t fit too much in it.. so I wouldn’t recommend it for what we need currently!
Not (super) high end but what about the long champ le pliage energy bag in S or L? It’s a great grab and go, water resistant for accidents with a baby/toddler. Zips up and can be carried top handle or shoulder strap option. This line replaced the neo line which I think has a fair few good reviews on RUclips.
The Longchamp is a great option too! I guess I am just smitten with the speedy at the moment😆
My mom bag at the moment is a coach bag similar to the LV ODEN. I’m a pumping mom so I choose not to carry a high end bag. My bag fits my portable pumps an 8oz bottle and my key cle. I can also fit a diaper n wipes if needed.

I have the speedy 20 in the damier ebene, I found it to look childish in the monogram. I imagined it being carried by teenagers- the damier seems much more refined in this style and the NF - just my opinion.
I do like the lighter colours in monogram.. The damier ebene may feel a little too dark for summer? Still thinking haha!
