I own this dishwasher and have been really disappointed I would not recommend it. The machine is expensive and has a number of drawbacks. The cutlery drawer has very narrow gaps so unless your knives and forks are very thin it is compromised. Other manufacturers are more generous. Because of the cutlery drawer if you have the top drawer at its highest setting to allow for dinner plates in the bottom there are limits to what you can put in the top. For example a pint glass collides with the bottom of the cutlery drawer. However the main feature is the comfort lift. Great idea and in theory it makes loading and unloading easier. BUT in practise it doesn't because you cannot access both top and bottom at the same time so you have to plan your loading and get everything in the bottom or top before moving to the next. Secondly the movement of lowering the comfort-lift causes the crockery to move. The comfort lift also makes access to the filter and salt reservoir more difficult. Finally I am not sure the engineers have got some of the calculations correct and he torsional force when the comfort lift is extended and loaded with heavy cooking pots exceeds the limits of the two brackets that secure the appliance to the kitchen units. Within 2 months these had buckled and the unit is very unstable. AEG are being very difficult about addressing this and are refusing to send an engineer to look at it despite their component failing well within the manufacturers warranty. They are trying to push it back to the retailer who installed it. The installers point out they followed AEG procedure and the component has failed because of physics. I would not buy AEG again it was an expensive mistake.
This is the worst dishwasher we've ever owned. The insurance for our previous dishwasher allowed an upgrade, and now I know why it was so cheap to upgrade. It's awful. The comfort lift restricts access to salt adding and arm cleaning, and the stacking is difficult for many typical items - even common plates. We think this may be have been the result of a child designing something for a family - it's like a Friday car - and generally very expensive (although our insurance made it easier, I really wondered how it was so cheap to upgrade the 1 for 1 it allowed - we really miss our previous cheaper one). We hope it breaks soon, so we can get another - hopefully through insurance
שלום לכולם. אני קניתי מדיח לפני חצי שנה , הוספתי גם אחריות לעוד 7 שנים על שרות מלא לטיפול ותיקונים . יש איזה חלק במדיח שנשבר ולא בגללי , פשוט האיכות שלו על הפנים . עכשיו רוצים ממני 450 ש"ח עבור החלפת חלק. וגם מדף תחתון שעולה עובד על הפנים . אני ממליץ לכולם לא ליקנות מדיח comfortlift , גם במחיר קניה הוא אחד מיקרים .
This is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. The comfort lift inhibits access to the salt & filter. Also the rotating arm on the upper basket tends to catch on the comfort lift. Mine has broken twice. The cutlery tray has very thin slots compared to a Bosch. The heater in mine has failed twice. To make matters worse the customer service is appalling. Remember this is an Electrolux product so not premium. I have had it two years and I am throwing it away. I left a review on AEG website but they delete bad reviews. Don’t buy!
