It gives all the same benefits as remove stock without nearly any of the downsides, its a direct upgrade over it it poses the question of why does remove stock exist

If I'm not mistaken, retracted stock IRL is used in situations when operator is wearing tons layers of clothes (PC, Jackets, BDUs, parkas and etc.) so the distance between eye and sights remain the same as you would aim with full-length stock without other clothes (might be wrong, personally IRL i just rock retracted stock all of the time cuz it looks cool and so that my gun is shorter in cqb environments)
I think it's meant to be used as an extra skeleton grip/angled grip speedy attachment, while not having the most terrible of recoil, but at that point you may as well just use the remove stock and stubby/folding grip
this attachment may seem to be useless but it is quite useful on some guns like the g36c which can achieve a 15.75 walkspeed which is very close to melee walkspeed. this can be quite crazy when paired with the .300 blk conv., which gives it some good damage ranges. so you can play aggressively like a speed demon while also hitting good mid-range kills p.s., its also worth mentioning that remove stock has the same exact stats. retract stock is purely cosmetic and both even cost the same when prebought

Remove stock and retract stock are the same, same Stat change, same kill requirement, pure aesthetician at that point, because some people want a remove stock without a naked tube.

alright big man here's two Scar-L setups for you, not true no-recoil but they feel pretty good to use IMO 1. .223 my beloved pilad 3 carbine barrel or ars suppressor (use the carbine barrel, ars is if it's just godawful) pistol grip yellow laser and of course .223 remington ammo 2. the silly little guy pilad 3 pbs-4 or ars suppressor pistol grip yellow laser and 9mm conversion thanks bye :3

I’m pretty sure that retract stock affects sight aswell with how close the optics are to you, which is somewhat preference based but overall doesn’t do much lol
I find it good on select weapons. It works well on the m16a3 for instance cause it already has pretty low camera recoil and spread and has kinda slow walkspeed with the blazer/stubby/ars build.

From what I've heard, it's supposed to be a middle ground between full stock and no stock, which is... rarely useful.

If I'm not mistaken, retracted stock IRL is used in situations when operator is wearing tons layers of clothes (PC, Jackets, BDUs, parkas and etc.) so the distance between eye and sights remain the same as you would aim with full-length stock without other clothes
(might be wrong, personally IRL i just rock retracted stock all of the time cuz it looks cool and so that my gun is shorter in cqb environments)
