Thank you very much for helping so many people. I'm grateful for you
this was the best tip for me to pronounce the word "important" so easily like an American.
Thanks a lot for making this Important tutorial for us.
The best explanation❤❤❤
very informative. please do more shorts like this
Seems to be more prominent with the young generation to pronounce it; “Im-por- unt’”, with the accent on the last syllable. No sure why they’ve started speaking it this way. I hear young news commentators saying it this way on TV. Drives me crazy!!
It's the modern day equivalent of talking like a valley girl. They sound ignorant. And if English is your second language it can be misunderstood as imported. If I hear it, I gently correct them.
im-POR-an Where did that come from?
It's an affectation that you hear a lot on RUclips. They leave the t out of words like mountain, curtains, button, and important. It sounds infantile, especially in a business setting.
@@fakenorwegian4743Agree. I’ve heard young TV newscasters pronounce it wrong. You would think communication professors would push to correct their students better.
@@bcain5823 Newscasters are no longer journalists. The standards are lower today.
