I love live performance clips and this one is no exception. It gives you a real feel for a band's personality. To me, Damian is just so expressive when he sings here. Love it!!

自分の小学生時代、ベイ・シティ・ローラーズの大ファンだった姉のレコード・コレクションの中で、一番しっくりきたのが、ロゼッタ・ストーンのファースト・アルバムでした。
ロック・クラシックの「サンシャイン・ラヴ」や「ユー・リアリー・ガット・ミー」、アップテンポなサウンドがかっこいい「ドライブ・オン」もいいけど、実はこの曲が大好きです！歌詞の内容は結構シリアスだけど、美しいメロディーをかなり早いテンポで歌い上げることで、不必要にお涙頂戴的な世界に陥ることなく、何度聴いても飽きない仕上がりになっていて、彼等のロック・バンドとしてのプライドと実力が感じられますねぇ😄
今思うと、ロゼッタ・ストーンのメンバーは全員が北アイルランドの出身で、複雑な歴史を持った場所に生まれ育ったことが、他のBCRのメンバーからは感じられなかったロック・スピリットを身に付けていったんだろうねぇ😃
