Whew I’ve been there done that…35 miles from home delivering pallets of stone on a flatbed… to a Walmart store… forklift broke, two days waiting, impossible to drop trailer, luckily I’d worked with the store manager in the past and a friend was on the local PD, they took care of me. Merry Christmas

oh yes, i sat 2 days in Miami airport. the jet engine i had was to big for their doors!!! it was a military load going to Spain for a down aircraft. i had a super broker, "the Memphis mafia" he got me 50.00 bucks an hour for every hour sat.
Man I want to do that one day!! Well not the sitting part but hey as long as detention pays well enough. I’ll sit lol

The games they play in this industry is gettin ridiculous, they was clearly playing you bro, just to delay you, and try to ruin your holiday/home time (wouldn't be surprised if the agent was aware of the whole situation)...it's like they try to get you stuck out doing a 34, thinking you'll keep running and not go home, imo
