I'm not trying to throw any shade or anything, but as much as I love Senior elite, I want to see something different, It's always the same things we see every year, I mean they tried to attempt the 360 ballup but it doesn't really look like it, I love them but at least try something different. They always start with a jump in the beginning and then they connect etc.

I agree with the mask wearing. but some states are different or cities. Like I live in Texas but I went to Florida for vacation and didn't have to wear a mask once. So the could be the case.
It’s perfectly fine to have similarities in the routine but it’s not the exact same. Especially this year with corona I don’t blame them for using similar things in the routine because there could have been times where they could’ve had to miss/cancel practice because of covid so they had to use parts they already know to make a bit easier

Half the teams I've watched that "have masks" aren't wearing them properly half the time anyway. There really isn't a difference. This contact sport is really risky before a vaccine. I understand the passion but I would also be scared regardless of a mask or not.

wearing a mask will not even make a difference, as soon as you touch the outside of your mask you are spreading/touching the infection. With such a contact sport you'd spread the virus with or without the mask...

you guys are stupid... i dont know whos educating the cheer community.. Masks can help reduce the spread of infection when socially distanced . But with such a contact sport a mask does not make a difference that's why its not compulsory to wear one.. if it actually did work to stop the spread wouldn't they make it a requirement in cheer? . As soon a someone accidentally touches the front of someone else's mask(bumps it, catches it in a cradleetc etc) they have spread what ever infection they are trying to protect from themselves.plus the mask will fall from your nose during the routine and you will spread it half way through the routine anyway. plus if you pull it up your are likely touching the front of the mask spreading it anyway.plus its just so dangerous in a high level sport.. I generally think they should just make all comps outdoors to help reduce the spread.

GUYS READ THIS! I cheer at CEA and it was an option to wear a mask, I would've much rather worn one. But the coaches said no masks so they can see our performance skills, but right after they made us put it on!! I AM A HUGE MASK WEARER!!
i get that everyone is upset that only Alex is wearing a mask. “contact” is considered no mask, less than 6ft and for more than 15 minutes. doing a routine in a mask the entire time is extremely hard. i know a lot of gyms that wear mask for practice, warmups and everything except when competing
my gym wear them all the time. competing or not. if you can do your entire routine with a mask on, it will be so much easier to do it without a mask on. i can also tell you that when teams compete without the mask, they don't put it on right after they perform. they wait like 10 minutes to.
