They definitely need to up their starter deck game up! Even though it played out a bit slower I see potential in the Amethyst steel Jafar deck. I definitely need to cook up something similar!
These are the decks I've been waiting for! Hercules has to be next. Also, I got done in by a Herc combo last set champ. Two Megs on board, quest for 4, Herc comes down, ready, quest again, Bibidi, ready quest again. 12 lore to win which I did not see coming.
@WintersLorcana it was awful. I had great control and was on my way to victory as it was of course a top deck for the full combo. Complete tip of the cap. Gross indeed. I knew you would love it.

I love the red green deck It's my combo of choice so if that was the kind of starter decks we were getting I would have gone nuts for it lol but I may have to build these out for a learn to play I'm going to help with this month
This is the kind of content I want to see from people. Metas sucks and tcg metas always have a weird power creep so seeing level playing fields is good
@WintersLorcana right? Like I would have loved an Incredibles collab or kingdom hearts for halloween next year. That would be insane. Have all the cards show iconic moments but maybe some cards make it so it's the POV of a key Kade wielder for hidden lore ya know?
Oh, I wasn't saying the real starter decks aren't fun or don't work, I was merely making them better, more rares, super rares and legendary's. It's not as if the price of the decks would go up xD Heroic Outlaw is a $10.20 valuation (no foils calculated) and Hypnotic Control is only $10.43 if you don't include the two copies of A Whole New World - but that, I believe, makes my case stronger, those AWNW cards wouldn't have their $8 price point if you got two of them in a single starter deck, they'd be closer to $0.50, maybe $1 each. Making cards more available always drives the price down. So these decks could easily contain some solid staples so everyone has access to powerful cards, instead of only the wealthy.
Pixelborn was great for real practice and testing, but a lot of my janky decks couldn't do anything on the ladder, so it's sort of a double edge for me
@wexton1 for testing, yes, I do play with real people. For videos though, daily, it's far too difficult to sustain. Can't use pixelborn because I can't use most of the footage I would get because of elements out of my control on my opponents end (ages, what they wear, etc.) And I don't have the time in my busy days to play dozens of games to get one or two decent video bits

Wow that Bibidi Hercules Meg combo sounds crazy but cool. Reminds me of getting 2 whole new worlds off with Jafar and Robin Hood in 1 turn

I've always liked Jafar. Thought he would be used more. Hopefully he makes a comeback.
He's got a whole set based around him coming up for set 7, I'm sure we're going to get some busted Jafar lines soon!
