No way! I literally made these muffins this morning and had he same results! I think perhaps layering the sponge & blueberry mixture, rather than putting the blueberry in afterwards 🤔
Easier way to do it is use an ice cream scooper with the trigger thing that helps you scoop out the ice cream from the scooper you get an even portion. Just a suggestion.

Yes I agree. Or mixing the blueberry mix with the sponge mix in the big bowl before putting it all into the baking cases?

A piping bag will work great to add the mix to the cases or an ice cream scoop x
