Great video. I worked at Coeur Defense for three years in the early 00’s. Very nice building with some imaginative architecture. Easy daily commute (Line 1) from/to center of Paris.
Its in my opinion one of the best of your videos... I would even say that its the second one after the London one. I really love these timelapses at the end.. and this weird 'pole' art looks freaking amazing.. especially when it gets dark :D. Thanks for another beautiful video trip and showing so many things I have never seen before
Wow that is super modern, initially I thought it was Dubai or somewhere in Asia! There is some cool quirky artwork there. What a great place. Have a good week Barnyz, take care - Nettie
Paris is such a cool city, I can't wait to get back. It sure is a beautiful video and it appears as though the weather was good for filming this time. The slow-motion stuff looks cool. Take care my friend. Greetings from Shawn and Mai. 👍✌️♥️🍻
thank you as always. Its a wonderful city and i really wish i had more time to spend there. Hope you get to return there someday soon! Have a great weekend, cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍
Never ben to Paris but if I had seen this with out information, I would never have guessed that it was Paris, looked completely different to what I would have imagined. It did look very modem and impressive and loved the reflected lights on the evening, cheers Alan
Thanks for watching Alan. Its very different to the usual parts of paris and is a nice contrast to the more traditional historical areas (and also much less tourists so a little more relaxing to visit). cheers from barnyz
Lovely place never saw it as close as this but did see it from the Arc de Triumph in 2006 .Impressive architecture " La Defense " when standing under also from afar . Beautiful night and day timelapses 👍👏 Nice to see your love one 😉👍 Have a great week Barnyz Serge H&S 👩❤️👨🌈🇨🇦
Thanks for the kind comment. I visit the arc de triumph as well on thus trip but didnt go on the top as it was crazy busy. Hope you are having a Great week cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍
I went here on a high school field trip✨My high school field trip was in France and overseas, so it was a very valuable experience. I remember seeing this cityscape. One thing that was refreshing was that, unlike Japan, the mark of ○ city was the coat of arms. In Europe, the family crest of the family was certainly a coat of arms. In Japan, the mark of ○ City is an illustration, especially a pattern and design close to the family crest, so I realized that the culture is different.
I was there in 2015-2016 and many of the streets and buildings were brand new. Very cool place. Massive. As well the square is lined up with the Champs Elysees and can see the Arche de Triumph and the Eiffel Tower.
Liked #75, the New Town of Paris! One would not imagine Paris to be this way, nonetheless spectacularly beautiful modern area. Loved the arched square building. How far is it from the center of Paris? Watched the video in full to support the right way, happy to support your channel 😎👍. Have a wonderful weekend, take care 😊
i really like la défense but some parts of it you can stand in and it looks pretty run down, i will allways prefer canary wharf though, one of the reasons why is cause you can see it from all around London and all the quays and the elevated dlr its just all very cool
Thanks for watching. I agree, there were some grimey areas, in fact quite a few spots where the buildings looked tired, but overall its still nice and makes for something different to look at in Paris. I also prefer Canary Wharf for the same reasons you mention (if I ever lived in London I would try and live there)
thank you for watching and commenting. For me I find this type of glass towers fascinating and interesting but maybe its because i come from a small place in the countryside where all the buildings are really tiny :)
gahd, I live in the SF Bay Area and this is how you do it. The garbage they've been building in San Francisco the last 20 years is embarrassing compared to this. Just a hodgepodge of unimaginative crap compared to La Defense! We simply cannot do things like this in America where it's just a patchwork of whoever can buy what and build whatever on it... instead of a well thought out and executed concept like this! I'd LOVE to see a history of how this development came into being!!!
J'adore la défense 🇨🇵 ❤
I had never even imagined this side of Paris! Thanks to videos like this that i get to learn something new every now and then.
thank you for watching. yes its interesting and different compared to the rest of Paris :)
Ce n'est pas à Paris
Guau guau guau que lugar mas increible.
Amazing place. Refreshing and peaceful. Thanks for showing us around.
thank you 👍👍👍
good to see a modern side of paris

Thank you Andy. It's nice and kind of quiet (as far as Paris goes). Have a great week cheers from barnyz 👍👍👍

It’s a fantastic video 🤩 awesome Timelapse 🥰 love Paris very much 👍🏻thanks for sharing 😉

yes indeed it seems to be from another world compared to the rest of Paris. Thanks for watching 👍👍👍

Looks like a typical city in us/canada without the european architecture
yes. Which makes it interesting as its in Paris so makes a nice contrast to all the historic architecture
🌎📡🇫🇷🧐
looks like the new part of a North American city downtown.
Yes I agree, I think that makes it very interesting and different compared to the rest of Paris. Its a nice contrast.
so fucking cheesy of them to build an office complex in the shape of arc dtriomphe
This is france wanting to be usa loooool
Ve Paris dinh cu. The xong.
"cool modern"
It's literally the same soulless glass towers that you see in every major city. Also, there is nothing to do there aside from working.
thank you for watching and commenting. For me I find this type of glass towers fascinating and interesting but maybe its because i come from a small place in the countryside where all the buildings are really tiny :)
