I work in a leather factory, we make bags and you really did a good job! We always use the hammer trick, its essential to get a nice shape. Which sewing machine do you use?
This is very gratifying!! My sewing machine is a beginner-friendly computerized Brother, I don't think it's ideal for bag making but managed to wrestle it through
I've been waiting for this tutorial since you first posted pictures of it!! I've been looking for a convertible backpack, and now I might just make my own 💖🙌💖
Wendy I just really really want to compliment you on the editing.. Your videos are just so nice and fun to watch because you make them so unique, I love them 🙌🏼
I don't think I would do this myself but still watching since your voice is soothing and the video is just relaxing. The craftsmanship is enjoyable to watch.
I could be crazy bit this might be the clearest video you've ever made. It was really easy to understand and it made me feel like I could do it! Love your channel Wendy! And to be clear, all your videos make me feel like i can do it but this one in particular felt extra clear!
HOLY COW! From one sewer to another- this bag looks AMAZING!!!!!!! When you showed the material I thought "this will be difficult to sew!" but you wow. The final product is A++++++!!!!
I'm so glad that you made this because I seriously wanted to make one with little more organisations to keep my baby stuff..!! I will surely make this and let you know.. thanks for the great tips
I said I would never attempt another backpack, but here I go. Loved the bit about maneuvering however you have to lol, you always make it looks so simple!!!
i literally cannot express how much i love this video first, youre gorgeous as always, second you took a popular thing and made it cuter and more versatile, and third you made the whole process look amazing because of the aesthetic of it im kinda overflowing w love for this video
That was a project that I never thought of doing, a great thinking process. I don't know if I want to try it , but it was fun watching you do it. Your videos are entertaining and informative .
So good! This will be my next project for sure. One question: do you find that your own projects are sturdy and stay together or do you sometimes not trust them to hold up?
Just wondering if you change your needle during this tutorial or use a zipper foot/ change the foot at all? Really like it and been wanted to make a mini bag which can fit more than just a purse and a phone, thank you!
My very firt sewing attempt...was from you tutorial on the circle skirt that you made...and oh my...you are so talented!if i try to do the bag it will never be that good!and i dont even know if i can find in my coutry all the matirials tha i need.
If you don’t find what you need I’ve known people that have sacrificed a pair of jeans that were too small or a jacket they didn’t want anymore...make it work girl!!!
great idea and wonderful project with a fantastic outcome :D I actually have an anello handbag and a fake anello backpack. what makes them so unique is the wired opening. It opens really wide and stay open because of the metal wiring for the top zipper opening.
on a scale from beginning to expert, where do you think this project would stand? I would love to try it but i am slightly intimidated so I'd love to know how you felt while making this! Thankyou thank you thank you! Love your videos!
Omg !! So talented! Ive recently started sewing and watching these videos just inspire me to learn quicker! I have a question, if anyone can answer. For the top strap/handle she said she tied off the threads on the inside so it wouldn’t be seen.. is that how to close off all stitches in general? Like when you start/end a stitch, there are loose threads, do you tie them off or cuz you just cut and leave them? Please and thank you !
It's small, but looks like it fits a lot of stuff inside! I would love to have one like this, do you recommend this project to a beginner? Also, do you think using fake leather would make it harder to sew or asseble?
Just discovered your channel and I am super grateful. I can't wait to apply these techniques to my own DIY. I'm putting together a costume and because I refuse to spend too much, I opted to try and make the bag myself, and you've just saved me a ton of headache
love the matte fabric with the shiny straps... seriously such a good project!!!! my sewing machine has been broke for the past year!! so this past weekend i got my first digital machine, I cannot wait to create.. so i am sorry for my absence this past year.. I admit I was jealous .Lol but my rmmate moved out so now I have an empty room( my new sewing studio) and brand new machine I can't wait to break in.... now just to decide which one of your projects to tackle next..💙❤
Thanks for the amazing video, i want to try it! I just have one question, what type of fabric is your bag made with? did you need a specific needle or foot to get it to slide through the machine more easily?
I love how your nails are kinda matching the mini backpack
I wish I could buy whatever you do!!
Been deeply immersing myself in the yellow/orange life colours lately, guilty as charged
That's really sweet, it means a lot!
You're welcome!!!! :D
To be honest, I've also been getting into yellow lately with almost everything!!!! :D
Matching nails are dedication!

I've been waiting for this tutorial since you first posted pictures of it!! I've been looking for a convertible backpack, and now I might just make my own 💖🙌💖
It’s so satisfying!! I’m so happy I went for the convertible straps.
Hey Wendy do you think you can make a tutorial for a knee length trench coat please !
The trench coat has been much requested over the years but I still find it daunting... I'll keep trying to figure out a way!
@@withwendy please do a trench coat tutorial please and thank you when you can and feel comfortable, would love to see how to do it.
Maybe better you could make a tutorial for a oversized jacket (blazer)?😏
Wendy I just really really want to compliment you on the editing.. Your videos are just so nice and fun to watch because you make them so unique, I love them 🙌🏼
