Considering your using none of your muscles in your foot like one would normally do when you're balancing on one leg, bouncing on your amputated leg is extremely impressive. Kudos, keep it up.

Even after nearly 49 years growing up with a fake leg, I still haven't managed to balance on the prosthetic side. On the other hand, I have a trick that can win me free beer. Hopping across a bar room with a pitcher of beer without spilling any beer. I find it odd that hops gives beer a nice bitter flavor, but hopping has no effect on the taste.
okay but not being able to feel the floor and not having muscles to move in your amputated leg makes it even more impressive that you can even balance on it at all.
I work as a paramedic, and I love the insight that you’ve given me to some of the patients I deal with. On a side note, I love the term meat leg. Almost spit out my coffee ☕️
You can even see the muscle difference, which I think is insanely cool. The fact that you can stand on the prosthetic AT ALL is insane to me. Keep up the good work! :)
Fun fact: the reason you can balance on your foot is mostly because of your big toe. If your big toe was gone, it would be close to impossible to balance. The fact that your missing an entire section of your leg and can still balance on that side is breathtaking and you should be proud! :)
After recently becoming a amputee in July this year. Watching these short videos gives me hope. That I will get back on track once I have my prosthetic
Very impressive, I am still working on getting stronger on my prosthetic side. It really means the world to get back my life as it relates to activities. I am gonna have a comeback grass cutting season like no other. I still don't fathom that I had my amputation 18 months ago, Thank you for assisting me through my journey, Still more work to be done. Happy Holidays. Thank you Jo.
@@mikaelahills9860 Thank you so much. Today I had my amputation 2 years ago. The journey has been real. The comeback has been greater than the set back. Blessings...
I came across your channel by recommendation. I've been developing a character who's an amputee, and by doing my digging, I came across your channel. I came for research, and I'm staying because of your amazing vibe. 💜
I totally agree with you, I had heart failure at 11 days old. I ended up loosing my left limb and so I can relate alot! It's nice to have someone who understands lol
That’s what a lot of doctors and prosthetic working people call legs and arms. The meat arm, or meat hand, meat foot or meat leg lol. You hear it a lot as an amputee haha
I know exactly what you mean. I had a childhood bone disorder that has left me with right leg damage and can't balance on it and stuff, Even though the problems and pain at times can be too much, I was blessed that I still have it and can walk around with not too much trouble.
My prosthetic guy says put the prosthetic leg into the pant leg from the BOTTOM, work it upwards, THEN put the prosthetic leg on the stump. It's MUCH easier that way, but no Capri pants for Richard!!
Discovered your channel today only .it's a power pack of postivity, limitlessness , blah blah blah some other good stuffs😂 that i can't explain verbally . new subscriber from india❤️😊😊.
Haha if it makes you feel better, when I took anatomy - it is quite common for everyone to be quite unbalanced to this degree in a less dominant leg and those who are good on both are considered miraculous! I kinda feel like teaching kids to be ambidextrous in general would help a lot of joint issues later on but idk just a theory lol
I do know what it's like to have unbalanced limbs. My right leg is alot weaker then my left leg because I may not have lost my leg but I did do trauma to my right leg, and there is metal in my leg. Good luck on your balance journey.
Stare at one spot on the floor don’t lose focus if you do choose another spot or recenter it’s a little shaky like the stronger leg I do that all the time :> cause my balance sucks
I remember when I broke my ankle last year and had both surgery and had to have that moonbot-thing and crutches for 6 weeks. Afterwards I was able to balance on my good leg for 5 min with closed eyes😅
It's so impressive how... Natural? The prosthetic looks, like obviously it doesn't look natural as in it looks like a human leg, but it looks so good and like it suits you (idk if that's weird to say I'm just impressed with technology and human adaptability)
I think a decent portion of it doesn’t even come down to strength: it's sensation. If any two-leggers here have tried to walk on a foot with bad pins & needles, you'll know that not being able to feel your foot against the floor makes you a walking hazard 😂. Part of what helps us balance is the physical readings our feet tell us when we start to tilt a certain way. If you don’t have that, you don’t know you're tilting until you're half-way to the floor. So don't beat yourself up if your prosthetic is never a pillar of stability. You're damn stronger than 90% of us 😅
I'm impressed by your balance on the prosthetic leg. I was born with a club foot, but thankfully after 3 reconstructive surgeries, I (mostly) have normal function of both legs, and I have much worse balance on my club foot leg (I call it my chicken leg cause it's so scrawny compared to my giant, muscular other side. 😂)
Considering your using none of your muscles in your foot like one would normally do when you're balancing on one leg, bouncing on your amputated leg is extremely impressive. Kudos, keep it up.
Indeed! I use my toes a lot to try and keep my balance!
I'm so jealous of your leg's strength, pistol squats are the bane of my existence.

@@greenlightxbpg I doubt they would care tho so just ignore them and report them
@@mynameis_________5875 ok ima do that
I can't even do normal squats...

lol the pun, actually I prefer non bitter beer :)
LOL!

Gurll u have more balance in one leg than I have in two😂u are a legend and I cannot compete
impressive you can bend all the way down and back up on any leg!!
the fact that she did a pistol squat, in jeans, holding a drink 😳 pure strength
I work as a paramedic, and I love the insight that you’ve given me to some of the patients I deal with. On a side note, I love the term meat leg. Almost spit out my coffee ☕️

It just takes time, but you can do it.

I would love to read your story/.book! Maybe your story will help my amputee daughter!!!!
Your balance is absolutely amazing! Also meat leg made me laugh so hard 🤣
Some people are not blessed to have a prosthetic but you have one have a blessed and glorious life I know you never forget that
I have the same balance on my regular legs when I try to stand on one foot the same way she tries to stand on her prosthetic 🤯
Adore the positivity
I absolutely love your shorts
I totally agree with you, I had heart failure at 11 days old. I ended up loosing my left limb and so I can relate alot! It's nice to have someone who understands lol
You always make me smile 😊
You are so freaking rad! And I insanely dig that sweater!
thank you for the subtitles as well!
this made me smile!
That last spin was actually ridiculous
That balance on the prosthetic was actually impressive as hell lol
Good job love your videos
What you're doing is badass. Props for being awesome.
Also, a lot of balancing works with how your foot kinda curls around to stabalize the body, so the fact you can do what you do is neat
I love how you call your real leg your “meat leg”! That’s awesome!
That’s what a lot of doctors and prosthetic working people call legs and arms. The meat arm, or meat hand, meat foot or meat leg lol. You hear it a lot as an amputee haha
WOW..... that's amazing. Keep working on it girl.
“MY MEAT LEG” 🤣 AHHHHH
props to you for risking to spill your coffee/whatever was in that mug
Amazing stuff!
Wow. That pistol squat right outta nowhere. I can't do that shit lol
When you pointed to your other side I could see the difference, my balance is currently horrible and going up stairs is like a newborn lamb
I know exactly what you mean. I had a childhood bone disorder that has left me with right leg damage and can't balance on it and stuff, Even though the problems and pain at times can be too much, I was blessed that I still have it and can walk around with not too much trouble.
That is a not half-bad roundhouse kick. I love it.
Very impressed that you didn't spill any of your coffee 😂
Wow, you’re really good at that! I’m not an amputee, but you’re much better at balancing than I am, and I’m admittedly not too bad! 😯
Motivation for others...
Hats off... 😊
“Meat leg” was not a phrase I expected to hear today, but here we are.
On another note, this is really cool!
Not amputated but I have surgery and recovering.
The pistol squats are on point. I thought I was the only one that weirdly do that on the better leg ™
You actually have better balance on your prosthetic than I do on my real legs.
Off topic but getting jeans on your prosthetic leg must be a whole battle field.
My prosthetic guy says put the prosthetic leg into the pant leg from the BOTTOM, work it upwards, THEN put the prosthetic leg on the stump. It's MUCH easier that way, but no Capri pants for Richard!!
💘 to learn what excersises & machines could build up your amputated leg! Video please!!
I’ve been dealing with severe foot issues the last few years and my balance sucks. What kind of exercises do you do to help with these muscles?
MEAT LEG, I have come to love your videos! Keep making them!
Keep positive.
Honestly I'm just as impressed that you didn't spill your drink as I am your balancing!
that is really really good balance I'm impressed

And without spilling a drop of coffee. Way to go girl!
She is such an amazing woman
I too had knee injury and after that my right leg doesn't serve me that well. But i am still very proud of my left leg, it's a super hero
Man I dearly love your video's.
Hang I there and GOD BLESS

Wow, that’s great! Also you are so pretty today and always! Lots of love! ❤️
She is gorgeous everyday! I agree!!!! She is so damn optimistic as cheerful. I love her.
Nice spin Jo! Hope you're doing well 😁👍💚
My stress when I thought your cup was full haha
You're amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Your stunning jo always an interesting video love you so much jo
Yep I have the exact same thing with my balance and my prosthetic
The balance she had on her prosthetic is the balance I have on either side (I’m not even an amputee, I just suck at balancing)
Your balance on one leg is better than mine on both legs. 🤣
The pistol squat is amazing…
She’s just spectacular
You're so cool. I wish I had your confidence.
You're truly amazing and insirping! Alao, yellow looks amazing on you. 😍❤🇦🇺
You're stronger on one leg than I am on two 😂❤️
imo that's goddamn impressive! i can barely balance on my legs!
That's kickass that you can do that but... what about zombie? What's your plan for when the zombies show up? Lol
I can’t focus on anything other than that coffee ☕️ cup swinging around! 😳
That's impressive.
I love how she is showing her prosthetic leg by having the pants pulled up a little bit 😊
Yes and now were pros at hopping on one foot
I'm very surprised and proud that you did that without spilling your coffee
Proud of what u do my beautiful sister

Oh shit that's impressive
You are amazing
My balance is so bad, watching you almost made me fall down. From my chair.
I love how she says meat leg...I wish I could learn some of her positivity man
That pistol squat cleaner than soap
Ah yes 'MEAT LEG' 😂😂😂
Nice job girl.
Man your leg is buff
Meat leg🦵 vs prosthetic leg🦿 cracked me up, it caught me off guard.
Lmao yo she said meat leg. 🤣. She is so dope.
She's blessed
I think a decent portion of it doesn’t even come down to strength: it's sensation.

You can really see the difference of the muscles on your leg
Me: Did she say "meat leg"?
*rewinds*
SHE SAID MEAT LEG!
LMAO
It’s said a lot in the amputee world lol. Lots of us call it “the meat foot” “the meat arm” “the meat leg” lol
u r incredible 😍
"Meat leg" 🤣🤣🤣
Lift side = Ladybug
Right = Marinette
It’s impressive that you didn’t spill your drink
